Long before America was even an idea, this land of plenty was home to many peoples. The British and French, the Dutch and Spanish, to Mexicans, to countless Indian tribes. We all shared the same land.Oh! Well, let's erase our borders and let in the whole world, then!

I think some of this must have gotten edited out by mistake: it's not clear to me what happened in 1585.
Could you read that over and maybe supply more about your ancestry? It's interesting!
Thanks for your good remarks.

"Obama is a fraud, Congress and the Judiciary are is looking the other way, and our nation is in jeopardy due to this. Thus, if I may, amplify your well composed thoughts. Accordingly, we must conclude that all three branches of our federal government have failed the citizens of the United States, have failed to honor their oaths of office, and are a complete and total disgrace by any standard applied. All are an abject embarrassment to the offices they dishonor.

In all reality America was an idea in the 1500’s, Obama is dumb, honestly

Or how about Obama's bold-faced lie that a 1965 event put into motion airline tickets for young Africans, causing Obama's daddy to meet Obama's mommy and have him born - 4 years EARLIER in 1961? Even snake oil salesmen would be too ashamed to try THAT ONE. Actually, I hadn't heard that one. I have seen him revise history to place muslims in America at a very early point, and that is a tactic that is SOP for the muslims. But there is another aspect of muslims and time, and that is exactly this idiot approach. I have run across it several times when talking to jihadis. It goes like this:
- Event A happens in the middle east, say, in 1980. Some random Arab idiocy.
- Event B happens somewhere in the West, say London 2005.
- 2008: Muslim claims event A was caused by event B.
These people have a problem with time. With what emerged the other day about the Arabic language having a physical impact on the brain, we will probably see that islam is a physical pathology.

Perhaps one of you American history buffs can correct me, but weren’t all lands west of the Mississippi “purchased” either from France or Spain? The key phrase there is “purchased”, as in bought and paid for. I fail to see how Spanish speaking Mexicans can have any issue with lands that were purchased.

if the French came hat in hand saying they wanted the Louisiana Purchase back, I think hed give it to em.Indeed he would. And the southern portion of Arizona was PURCHASED from the Governor of Mexico at the time. It was called the Gadsden Purchase. So the whole "you stole it concept" is pretty much BS. ANd I can't remember the name of the US general who was sent to quell the Apache uprisings in that area who said something like, "We should go to war with Mexico to make them take it back."
Mexico didn't want Arizona at the time and were glad to be rid of it.

Berry makes a lot of stupid mistakes for someone who is suppose to be a scholar. I bet there's a good reason he won't release any of his college work or his grades. Berry is a meat-head.

When Cortez arrived in Mexico in 1519, the "Mexica" were the group we call Aztecs, and everyone else hated them (that's how Cortez won, with the help of the other Indians of the region). After the Spanish conquest, it was known as "New Spain." The small number who came to what is now the US were more likely to see themselves as Spanish than as Mexicans, I think. Father Serra wasn't a Mexican--he was born in the Balearic Islands.
Much of the Southwest had no Mexicans living in it when we acquired it in 1848. In Arizona the Indians hated the Mexicans.
