Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmedinejad warned the Obama administration today that if Iran's nuclear facilities are attacked, the U.S. will face a war that "would know no boundaries." He said that Iran is on the brink of becoming a nuclear power, and warned Israel and the U.S. against attacking its nuclear facilities. Asked about the possibility of a U.S.-supported Israeli air strike against Iran, the fiery Iranian leader said an attack would be considered an act of war, and suggested the U.S. is unprepared for the consequences.

I predict that his own people will slay him in the end. As for obama—he shakes in is boots at the thought of war with Iran and will do nothing if they should attack other lands. He is weak—weak presidents inspire our enemies to attack us. Wait til a US city is vaporized with millions dead—and see what happens. Obama will blame Bush, run to the UN, give a speech, and apologize to who ever blew up one of our cities. I hope I am wrong. I have been waiting for Obama to grow into the job-—he has failed. He’s making Carter look good.
Let me add here an observation to my posting: Current events point to MacArthur’s strategy of island/target skipping and the “We Were Soldiers” battle to take the fight to the enemy on the part of Islam.
The forty year theory.

Ibn Khaldun is famous in the world of studying Middle Eastern history as the author of The Introduction, (Al Muqaddimah). In this work, he outlines a cyclical theory of history, which comprises four phases:
1) Raw rise to power from a clan or nomadic group
2) Refinement of the reins of power
3) Apogee
4) Decadence and decline
The clannishness or Asabiyyah of a group progresses through level(s) of civilization (and is) strongest in the nomadic phase. Once the rise and fall occurs, another more compelling Asabiyyah may take its place (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muqaddimah).
The volumes contained in the actual history that The Introduction precedes are not only long, but also varied and expansive. In a nutshell, Ibn Khaldun ties time in terms of specific generations to the physical space those generations occupy. For example, the idea of a social contract is explained, as is a description of the tension between the power of the rural versus the city. Ibn Khaldun conceived both a central social conflict (town versus desert) as well as a theory (using the concept of a generation) of the necessary loss of power of city conquerors coming from the desert (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Muqaddimah).
The length of each of the four power phases listed above is approximately one generation, or 40 years. That being said, we are witnessing waves of varying strength in the global conflict between Islam and the Western World that has existed since the breakout of Islamic military conquest in 711. Significant events in Western-Islamic tension have continued unabated. While these dates are not exactly 40 years apart, they nonetheless suggest that the conflict has never ceased, but, has simply permeated ever more deeply into the ethos of the peoples involvedbeyond military capabilities to the citizenry. To wit, as evidence, please consider these dates:

The Spice Routes founded the circumvention of the Middle Eastern trade routes as assuredly as the oil routes have led to the same area. The market for trade goods has been and will continue to be the locus of control. It isnt that the Crusades of 1095-1261 ended; they merely crossed over religious bounds to market control and, now, to recognition of the cultural clash.

When Mr. Almedinejad shoots off his big mouth and threatens the U.S. with war, does anyone beleive that he is aware that just one of our subs has enough firepower to destroy every major and a few minor cities in Iran, all within about ten minutes time total? Never were the words “be careful of what you wish for” more appropriate.
Clearly, without doubt, language of the left.
Because by our choice (majority voted for Obama), we are a conquered nation.
*** I suspect that Amadumyjon does not know a thing about TOTAL war. ***
He knows exactly what he is doing. His hope is to start an apocalyptic war that will see the return of the 12th Imman, the hope of all the Shia mohammedans.
The mother of all battles, their stomachs are roasting in Hell, blah, blah, blah...
We've heard it all before, Mahmoud.
He is a man, not an adult male. That is why the liberals hated him. He stood up for America and didn’t apologize for America.
Wasn’t he refreshing while he lasted?
Piss off, numbnuts!
Only for those with open eyes and courage...sigh....
Let’s do it.
Drip, drip, drip...
Good list, but a little short on targets...
Sadly. all of that happened under real U.S. presidents. Remember, we now have an ineligible usurper in the White House who also happens to be a clueless fool and likely Muslim.
After he bows first...
UN asshats sit there and take this.
Where’s John Bolton when we need him??????????
I’d vote for him for President in a heartbeat.
