Top Bush Aide Denounces Mark Levin, Malkin, Others as 'Unhinged...Bolshevik' Enforcers
Newsbusters ^ | 9/19/10 | Tim Graham

Former top Bush speechwriter Michael Gerson is a Washington Post columnist, and there is never a better time for right-leaning columnists to lean left than in the last weeks of an election season. (See George Will trashing Sen. George Allen in the last weeks of 2006.) His rant also may have granted Gerson a seat on CBS's Face the Nation on Sunday.

Gerson not only denounced Christine O'Donnell as a wacky candidate like Alan Keyes, he denounced "the childish political thought of the Tea Party." He insisted conservatives were like Bolsheviks. Bloggers like Michelle Malkin and talk show hosts like Mark Levin were "unhinged" against Karl Rove.

Gerson wants to suggest that the Tea Party people are unhinged in their rhetoric, and then he compares them to murderous Russian communists. Remember this the next time Gerson agrees with a liberal that Obama shouldn't be smeared with foreign associations.

For the billionth time, Ruling Class: Nobody held a gun up to the heads of the voters in Delaware- they chose O’Donnell out of their own free will.

A brilliant FReep'er in an earlier post accurately described the current statist situation in a brief communicative way.

To paraphrase: There is only one party. It is the Government Party. There are two branches of the Government Party, the Republicans and Democrats who battle to lead and control the Government Party.

When you said “Washington Post columnist” that was all that needed to be said.

They are trying to create WWIII in the Republican Party and trying their best to make anyone who agrees with the Tea Party extremist.

All they are doing is enforcing what most Americans believe and giving free advertising for the the Tea Party.

Keep it up Democrats...

Never heard of Gerson before. Is he somebody, or thinks he is. I have heard of Mark Levin and Michelle Malkin -- a lot.

Also heard of Rove, Krauthammer, Caste and Mukowski which all seem to be useless weenies. If that's who Gerson wants to bunk with, then I guess this is the only time I'll hear of him. Happy retirement -- or unemployment. There's plenty of that too!

I believe he’s got that backwards. WE (the tea party) are not the Bolsheviks - THEY ARE!

One of Saul Alinksy's rules. Accuse them of being what you are.

Its becoming more and more obvious that both political parties, the establishment, are of the same mind and must be removed from positions of power over us. The people and that damned “Constitution” are all that are standing in their way to political nirvana.

My opinion is they are girding up for a bill to crack down on the internet. We the sheeple are just getting way too upity for their comfort. Next thing ya know people will start demanding immigration laws are enforced and states’ right reinstated and no more bailouts.

Rep/Dem...different sides of the same coin. At least the Dem’s are mostly upfront about what they want to do while the establishment Rep’s have been stealth in their ‘progressive’ motives/actions. To hell with all of them......

Nailed it along with others above.

Well after 9/11 think about the Bush administration;

Accommodation of the totally illegal Mexican Invasion.

Agreement with the Kelo Decision.

The new Homeland Security Department.

The TSA.

Total stonewalling of what conservatism is.

Noooooo, there ain't no CFR global conspiracy.

“It appears that the RINOs are looking for a fight. History is now repeating itself. Consider that in 1854, the two major parties were the RATs and the Whigs. Along came the PUB party, which the Whigs denounced. The problem was that the Whigs stood for nothing, had no outstanding leaders and served no purpose, save to be “the other party”. By 1860, the Whigs were gone and the GOP was in ascendancy.”

—That’s a really interesting observation!

“what the hell happened to the Bush administration is becoming Crystal clear.”

I agree, and frankly it is giving me a small shiver of apprehension of where this will all end up. These well-armed oligarchs are not going to go quietly in the face of torches and pitchforks.
