That’s the Gospel for today’s Catholic readings; other denominations pick and choose what they read and talk about.
Besides — it only talked about sermon, singing and eating. No scriptural references.

He picked a good day to go--the Gospel was about the dishonest steward, so he could have felt it was about himself.
Of course his approach is the exact opposite. The steward in the Gospel tells someone who owes 100 measures of olive oil to change it to 50 measures. Obama wants someone who owes 50 grand in taxes to pay 100 grand.
