St. Johns is Epicopal, that’s almost Catholic in ritual.Indeed, the readings in St Johns are the readings at Catholic Mass today as well. He’s never been to a liturgy like this ever in his life. He picked it because someone told him the day’s Gospel and he thought he’d use it politically. And the church is across the street.

That’s the Gospel for today’s Catholic readings; other denominations pick and choose what they read and talk about.

Besides — it only talked about sermon, singing and eating. No scriptural references.

I wish people would drop this most ridiculous of subjects. So Obama attended church, just what is that supposed to prove? Are we supposed to respect a president just because they go to church? I don't think Ronald Reagan attended church services of any kind once during his presidency. Bill Clinton attended regularly. Does that make Clinton a better person than Reagan was? Nonsense.

Article VI, Clause 3 is there for a reason.
