And let me add;
SAVE MONEY EVERYWHERE! No more zootie-washin’ aid to Africa! No new paper money! Well,,,, you get my drift. These butt heads are spending our tax money on totally unnecessary things. I’ve had to tighten my belt, make them tighten up their ridiculous spending sprees.
SAVE MONEY EVERYWHERE THAT IT CAN BE SAVED INSTEAD OF SQUANDERING IT!!
I had an extremely brief interest in Perot, because I pictured him running around the Oval Orifice squeaking;
“Veto! Veto! We can’t afford this! Veto! Veto!”
Then I came to my senses. But we’re freakin’ broke! We need to stop all this crazy spending!
Arrgh! I need a break!
In fifty years, Jim DeMint might be remembered as the man who more than any other turned this country back on course.

Recovery requires a level playing field.
Abolish the corporate income tax! End the foolish restrictions on drilling for oil and gas on public lands!
Balanced trade with China. Implement a tariff, proportional to the trade deficits, on all imports from countries with whom we have been experiencing large chronic trade deficits. Countries like China with their subsidies and currency mispricing create a one-way flow of underpriced goods; goods that are destroying jobs in many sectors of our economy.
We are stuck with trillions in lost equity combined with trillions more in debt. Either we reverse this or we are the last generation of Americans. The elections in November are surely our last hope to force the federal beast back into its cage.
I agree. I don’t like to say I’m a republican. I prefer conservative.
Simple majority in both Houses, plus the President can pass a budget, including tax cuts, by “reconciliation”. (Same rule used to avoid filibuster on ObamaCare.) So a Republican president and congress could do A LOT even if they don’t have 60 Senate votes. They could defund almost anything.
I will probably get flamed for this, but I think the We the People movement needs to ditch the idea of Republican totally. The name Republican is just as soiled and stinky as the name Democrat.

Then we leave the Republican party as a base for the RINOs. We need to take over the party, not go third party.
Repeal DeathCare
Repeal DeathCare

You're reading my mind.
DeMint is right. So many of the core are ready to go third-party. The "tea party" is the core trying to take back their party. If they fail, if the party grandees con them yet again, they'll bolt.
The only way to avoid seeing the party collapse is to get the big-government Repubs out, replaced with people who will fight.
But in the end, the GOP is just a vehicle, and its dispensable. The country is a one-off, one-shot deal. We either reclaim it, restore it, rescue it, or face our makers knowing we lost it.

Jim is running for reelection this November. If you like his philosophy, consider tossing him some bucks.
I don’t want tax cuts. I want whole federal departments shut down or divided up and handed off to the states... for them to keep or close or do whatever they will with them.
Any program that doesn’t involve closing down whole departments is probably just shuffling the deck chairs on the slow-boat to China.
As another poster commented, taxes alone don’t do near the damage that over-regulation does, and that an overreaching overly proactive government does. Its not enough to talk about lowering taxes, we need to go after the tons of regulations with a shredder and a torch.
As for the economy, the quickest way to turn it around, so fast we’ll get whiplash, is to make a decision to become energy independent, completely. Drill, mine, build, drill and mine some more. Steamroll anything that gets in the way of drilling mining and building.
If we don’t do that, then get used to poverty because the damage we’ve done over the last several decades combined with the damage we’re doing now is going to be tough to overcome. Impossible to overcome where there is no will. Energy is life. Energy is wealth. The lack of it is poverty and slavery. I don’t mean to sound melodramatic. But the key to it all is energy. Thats why they are determined to take control of it.
They need to do what Gov. Christie is doing in NJ on a national level or the whole Ponzi scheme that is SocSec/Medicare and now Obamacare will crash sooner rather than later...
yup ...I will not go back to the republican party.they are just as bad as democrats.
WHAT is that flag??? I don’t get it.
When my daughter was in high school a kid showed up here one day who came across very much like Meghan McCain. I made it clear I didn't want her hanging around in my home! I don't like unprincipled Dimbletwits!
I notice you don’t have any spending cuts in your proposal. Abolishing the corporate income tax will increase the deficit unless you have some real cuts in spending to go with it.
Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative. Supported by your hero Gov Christie.
Biggest freaking scam going. You’d best look into it before you buy the whole package.
Thank you - whew! I thought it was something islamic.
