Fresh off her victory in Delaware, GOP U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is riding a wave of campaign cash but also internet infamy, thanks in part to her controversial statements -- most notably on masturbation -- in the late 1990s on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect." Christine O'Donnell says one of her first dates occurred on a satanic altar.
On Friday, Maher released on his new HBO show, "Real Time," an unaired clip of O'Donnell admitting to a brief dalliance with witchcraft.

Then you are probably unaware of who they even are!
It isn’t Karl Rove, they are people who love this country.
It is the responsibility of the O'Donnell campaign to respond to the press and clarify what you describe as "innocuous events". In politics, especially for conservatives, unanswered accusations are assumed true. The sooner she handles this the better.
MSM bias is the only reason that any of it is even visible.
It's called politics...welcome to reality.
Why are you here making such ridiculous comments?
I didn't make a ridiculous comment...unlike your following comment...
Maybe you really are a con man?
Yes, genius, I am a conservative man. It's not a difficult puzzle. I'll bet you can even figure out which state is my home...
You can't because you are lying.
You can't because you are lying.

Do you know who they are? I don’t really care who they are; however, they are going into shark-infested waters, and need to be very savvy.
No, I did not think she is working with Rove?! Why would you say that?!
I am not aware of who they are, nor do I doubt they love the country, I just am not sure how savvy they are, and she will need some good responses to these media attacks—like the EXCELLENT RESPONSE that I complimented in my post....but she is not yet responded and canceled all press including FOX news Sunday, which may or may not be a good move.
Fortunately she has the support of some very savvy media hard hitters like Levin and Limbaugh. She will need them and more.
That was was my main point—the excellent response posted on FR, that I really hope does not get lost with your comments....
You’ve missed the entire context of the conversation. I want her to win. I want her to stomp a mudhole in the Maxist.
But the other poster, editor-surveyor (which incidentally is one of the dullest screennames I’ve ever seen) is calling anyone who dares pose a question about the candidate “brainless” “anti-Christian” and misogynists.
In other words, acting like an idiot.
This is Free Republic, not Democratic Underground. We discuss issues openly, put facts on the table, and won’t be shouted down or called trolls by every mental midget or self-appointed guardian of Groupthink.
Protocol requires that I notify that you were mentioned in my previous post. Don’t take the term “mental midget” personally, even though I did mean you specifically.
You won't. you can't.
What, is the third time the “Hex?”
Go away little troll.
MHGinTN and I have been here for a long time, and seen the program of the adversary enscted hundreds of times per day here.
You may think that your approach is new and unique, but I assure you it is old hat.
As you were!
.
Tex, answering ludicrous false charges is a complete waste of time in a political campaign.
The crud that made them would certainly love for her to make that mistake, but rest assured, she has very competent counsel, that has precluded such an error.
.
No surprise there. Liars always run and hide when called out.
Spare us the tears troll.
You have taken much pride in disrupting hundreds of threads with your evil rants.
.
Another poster on this thread had you pegged, I believe the term he used was mental midget.
Perhaps it is your condescending arrogance which exposes your hidden ‘quality’. Or maybe it’s your thinly disguised hatred for Sarah Palin or anyone else with an “R” after their name who isn’t pure enough, brilliant enough to suit you, or ... or why haven’t you run for a office with an “R” after your name? WHo knows, but repeatedly calling a longtime freeper a liar exposes you, not him.
That is correct, so why, on a Conservative website, are people bashing O’Donnell?
Um, I’ve not missed the context of your implied smears of O’Donnell. And your effort to identify me with sentences/phrases I have not posted tells me you are following an agenda, not discussing honestly.
Of the two now available to vote for, Coons the bearded Marxist or O’Donnell the dolly, which would you vote for? ... Or would you be too good to vote for either and just leave the decision up to anyone else?

When any freeper, regardless of how long he's been here, repeatedly tells bald-faced lies and then runs from defending them (which, it appears, is a sign of good character to you) then I will call him what he is....a liar.
I am not well informed about O'Donnell, only know what I have heard about her in the past week. If I understand the story line correctly she has admitted to have “dabbled in witchcraft”. The admission came sometime in the 1990’s while on a tv show with Bill Mahr so we must conclude that the “dabbling” must have happened prior to that. We also must reason about why she was invited to be on the show...my thinking would be that she had taken a strong stand on an issue (probably sexual purity) that Bill wanted to make fun of. If I understand the article correctly she admits to hanging out with some witches, going to a movie with one, and having a midnight “picnic” on a satanic altar...not realizing it as an altar at the time. This does not come across to me as somebody that has a lot of knowledge about witchcraft. One the the questions it also raises would be why did Bill not air that part of the show in the 1990’s??? Could it be because what is described could have been described about a lot of teens both then and now?
As a teen in the 1980’s I used to listen to some of the popular rock music...as I am sure a few on FR did as well but I do not listen to it now. Why, because I realized what was being “taught” in the music...Does anybody remember AC/DC (that's right, they are popular again)? I remember the songs “Hell's Bells” and “Highway to Hell” to start with. Remember Black Sabbath with such statements as “Satan could be God” (Circus, Dec.,1971,p.46) and “It's a satanic world” (Rolling Stone, Oct.28, 1971,p.41) or the fact that they were known to hold black masses before concerts which included an altar, nude person, and sprinkling of chicken blood. We could go on with Blue Oyster Cult, Alice Cooper, Kiss, Ozzy, Rush, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Meat Loaf, Motley Crew, Poison, etc...but I think we get the point.
The real issue here is...did O'Donnell change from being that person that “dabbled”...from what I have heard, it sounds like she has.
I would ask that the people that feel so inclined to cast stones, first look up John 8:7 and then Luke 6:42.
If we are looking for somebody to vote for that has nothing bad in their past we will end up with nobody running...Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God...
So again thank you.
God bless
