Fresh off her victory in Delaware, GOP U.S. Senate candidate Christine O'Donnell is riding a wave of campaign cash but also internet infamy, thanks in part to her controversial statements -- most notably on masturbation -- in the late 1990s on Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect." Christine O'Donnell says one of her first dates occurred on a satanic altar.
On Friday, Maher released on his new HBO show, "Real Time," an unaired clip of O'Donnell admitting to a brief dalliance with witchcraft.

A total ditz with no visible sign of income other than that resulting from lawsuits. A “professional activist” is no more qualified for office than a “community organizer.” Why should we expect anything less?
But, she was 30 years old at that time, it just seems kind of strange to me
but maybe she was exagerating while she on the program.
Actually, of all the negative things that have been reported about Odonnell, the only one that makes me pause is her appearing on Maher’s show, now that is bad judgement.
Nevertheless, Go Christine!
It doesn’t look like she was AT ALL vetted as a potential candidate. There needs to be more standards to hold a potential candidate to, other than “because Sarah said so”.
Though I totally disagreed with him at the time, and was even mad at him for saying what he did on election night, it’s looking like Rove might have been onto something. Perhaps he knew of all of this stuff in her background. Who knows....
No, what's stupid is to ignore reality. It's stupid to bear blind obedience to a politician - it borders on idolatry.
As someone said earlier, it might have been wise to complete some due diligence on O'Donnell. PLENTY of people warned the masses that she was a mistake - they were labeled RINOs, traitors, trolls, communists - do you think that it's possible that they appreciated O'Donnell for what she very well may be - a nut?
O'Donnell's only qualification for this Senate seat is "she isn't Mike Castle". If you think that's enough, so be it. But, you can't be surprised when she melts under the hot lights. There's NOTHING in her background that would lead a reasonable and rational person to believe she'd do anything other than melt.
She's a mess, and the best thing to do - or the only thing to hope for at this point - is that she doesn't become such a sideshow and circus that she ends up hurting other Tea Party candidates in closer races.
'jveritas' was right...
At least witchcraft could arguably demonstrated as having a certain degree of successful outcome and viability to get results, Marxism has a perfect track record of FAILURE.
true
Exactly and that is why this attempt at smear is so transparent. They believe that conservatives will run away in droves. But if this past week has shown us anything it shows that we need to just say "So what...".
We need to close ranks just like the dimwits do (within reason).
CNN reporting a video has been obtained of Christine at a witchcraft type meeting, where those attending are allegedly chanting and casting spells on their enemies.
Unbelievable.
Responding to liberal talking points, like Pavlov’s dogs.
I've got to say we have our share of dumb asses on FR. She isn't practicing the black arts, you moron, she admitted, back in the 1990s, that when she was young she dabbled in witchcraft. Some people have sh** for brains and it seems like many of them have signed up to pretend to be conservatives on FR.
Neither of us were there. I don't know where you grew up but people in their late teens/early 20s did a lot of weird stuff in Los Angeles where I grew up and it does not, looking back, serve as much of a predictor of future thoughts, feelings or ideals. (Taking drugs or engaging in promiscuous sex is different and this is not indicated here.)
Since I don't believe that witchcraft works I don't see any lasting damage from having sat upon a stone with some blood on it.
I heard odumbos family practices voodoo in the WH. Is that true? Are they looking into that?
We can use the same tactics and we should, since our cause is Liberty, theirs is tyranny.
... which was only 10 years ago. She appears to be a loose cannon who doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut.
I think an argument could be made to the effectiveness of ritual. I think it has been made, actually.
jveritas would have been bashing O’Donnell.
Actually.
