I saw Eat Pray Love over the weekend. I cant remember the last film I walked out of but I certainly wanted to walk out of this one. I stayed because I want to know what is going in the world. I know now and its not good.
The cinema was half full, almost all were women.

Me too! Me Too!
I get to be "Tom Servo!" I get to be "Tom Servo!"
I know. Besides, I enjoyed the book so much that I wanted to just leave it at that.
LOL!

Yeah, I get that a lot, too ...
I would be “Gypsy” but she never gets to watch the movie.
Flipping through a few pages in an airport book store is as far as I got. It seemed shallow and depressing. So many women in my church talked about it that I had to give it a look. Sounds like I didn't miss much!
Sorry, didn’t mean to insult you.....
Like me, you have probably come to that point in your life where you realize everything new is not necessarily better. Many times it's a lot worse. There was an idea propagated in the sixties (and probably before that) that every new thing was superior to what preceded. As far as technology, that might be true. As far as culture and the arts and entertainment, that appears to be false.
Your story idea sounds better than what the movie sounds like. One way to seriously torture a man (not a metrosexual) is to make him watch one of these chick flicks where the female in question (usually a leftist twit) seeks the “meaning of life” or some other garbled Hollyweird message.
