One can only conclude that Obama and his staff are profoundly ignorant of the Preamble to the Declaration, or that the devious and Godless demon deliberately left out the CREATOR (and the concomitant "NATURAL" law) that underpins the concept of "unalienable" rights, in the aforementioned preamble!
In short, with out mention of the "creator" there is no rational justification for the "endowed" unalienable rights... rights that are inborn and independent of man made laws.

It looks like he was reading from the teleprompter as usual, but when it came to this part, he paused and considered whether he should continue verbatim or to say it his way. I believe the phrase “endowed by our Creator” was on that teleprompter, and he made a deliberate decision to omit it.
America was an idea in the 1500s and the United States of America an idea in the 1700s. Mexico is only now celebrating its 200th anniversary. Obama's history timeline for the New World is off by about 200 years.
