In the most anticipated speech at today's Values Voter Summit in Washington, Delaware's new GOP Senate nominee Christine O'Donnell ignited the Omni Shoreham ballroom with a tangible buzz. She strode onto the stage to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin'," with orange spotlights sweeping the room. (None of the other afternoon speakers got a light show.) The packed crowd gave her an enthusiastic standing ovation, continuing to applaud long after she took the podium.

She is replacing the brilliant VP who said FDR got on TV during the depression to comfort the nation. And she is not qualified?

She's not the one with sour grapes here, sour grapes are the sole possession of the Murkowski wing of the GOP. Why are you still doing this? It makes no sense.

“Will they atttack us? Yes. Will they smear our backgrounds and destroy our records? Undoubtedly. They will. There's nothing safe about it. But is it worth it? ... I say yes, yes, a thousand times yes. This is no moment for the faint of heart. Some have accused us of being just an aging crowd of Reagan staffers and home-schoolers. They're trying to marginalize us and put is in a box. ... They don't get it. We're not trying to take back our country. We ARE our country.”
Sure sounds like a winner to me.

Christine ODonnell is a terrible candidate. She can't be too bad of a candidiate if she beat the best known Republican in the state in the primary. That by itself makes her a great candidate. She deserves all Republican support or they should just dissolve the party and get it over with.

Her resume now says, “Republican nominee for US Senate. Choice of TEA Party faithful everywhere.” This year is much else needed when you’re trying to save the country?

You’ve never seen a poorer candidate? You’ve got to be kidding. Well, with a name like GOP lady I guess you’re not. Apparently you relate to “r’s” more than principles.
And since you and Karl aren’t supposed to be cheerleaders for republican candidates I ask you does that mean you ARE supposed to slime republican candidates you personally dislike?
To: GOP_Lady
Still think O Donnell is a “terrible candidate, when you learn that despite Rove and the GOP’s Establishments slander campaign against her, O'Donnell has raised $1,674,884.00 in donations in less then 72 hours?

Be fair the majority of old bags in the WH started with NO experience whats so ever....DID hiltlery have any experience when she was elected Senator? She rode to victory on Bubba’s coattails...I don't see the point here! IT'S A FREE country, and ANYONE can run for office. Heck EVEN you can run for a senate seat if you wish and if the folk elect you great! WHERE is it written that you have to have experience...WHERE?! In the Constitution?....I THINK NOT!

My motive is simply to state here once what I feel about her candidacy. I hope she wins for the GOP’s sake. I’m glad I don’t have to vote for, because I wouldn’t because of lack of experience (and I have never not been able to vote for a GOP candidate). It seems that she could not handle her personal affairs very well, so how could I expect her to represent me?
