Coming off the first debate between the two major party candidates, Colorados race for the U.S. Senate remains a close one.
The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Colorado Voters, including leaners, shows Republican Ken Buck leading incumbent Democratic Senator Michael Bennet 49% to 45%. Six percent (6%) favor another candidate, and five percent (5%) are undecided.
The race remains a Toss-Up in the Rasmussen Reports Election 2010 Senate Balance of Power rankings.

This is a relief. Ken Buck seems to have improved as a candidate and has avoided any further gaffes.
Wonder how much better he’d be doing w\o the meltdown by Maes?
Bennet reminds me of a stoner surfer dude. Can’t stand the way he talks....LOL.
All I see is that Bennet and the Dems are the only ones running ads in Colorado against Buck. I suppose Buck is waiting to see the whites of their eyes and then hit him will broadsides in the last month or so.
That's what I was about to say. It's about 50 to 1 in the TV ad department, with Buck way down. It's almost constant Buck bashing, and Buck had better start to hit back. You let charges, even crazy ones, go unanswered for too long and things start to stick.
Michael Bennet let his rich Wall Street friends suck the Denver Public Schools into an awfully dumb and expensive refinancing deal before he went to Washington
The rats would have been smart to nominate Romanoff instead.

Looks like the negative ads aren’t working. Buck should be on the air soon - my understanding is he is picking up party and other national support.
I also can't believe we might have a Governor Hickenlicker either.
Unlike the mess that is the Colorado governour’s race, this Senate race seems to be going our way. I’m tentatively suggesting this will be a pickup.
