'Tea party' is polarizing, but has many 'closet admirers,' poll finds

Forty-four percent of Americans now see the upstart "tea party" movement in a favorable light, according to a new Christian Science Monitor/TIPP poll.

What's more, about 40 percent of tea party sympathizers say they would not attend a tea party event, meaning they are essentially "closet admirers" of the small-government movement, says TIPP pollster Raghavan Mayur.

"The general party line says the tea party is fringe, but I think most of the public hasn't bought that point of view ... and sees the tea party movement in a positive to neutral light," says Mr. Mayur, president of TechnoMetrica Market Intelligence in Ramsey, N.J., who last weekend oversaw the poll of 908 American adults. "The overarching message here is that Democrats have been in denial about the tea party [phenomenon] … and I think it's coming back to haunt them."

Of course, it's polarizing; it wouldn't be much of a movement if it wasn't.

But then the left calls anything that stands in its way of total global domination, "polarizing".

The TPM doesn't really do anything that American patriots haven't done for the past 200 years; stand for freedom and the Constitution. But the new "progressives" see those two things alone as a total denial of their quest of running the world.

The MSM has worn the covers off its Thesaurus trying to find new words to use in villianizing the TPM; they've claimed racism where none exists; they've claimed violence when none has occurred, and they've even tried the long shot of "sedition".

But, like the signs in front of a lot of elementary schools in the nation, "Today's Word is: 'polarizing'." Can you say "polarizing"? "I knew you could.".

That's silly, but that is what the democrat party has left the far left bring them down to...trite silliness.

Every time we let the children use the car, we have to get it out of the ditch they run it into. Everytime the GOP has to come in an be the National clean-up crew like some dutiful father paying off their children's excesses.

But children recruit children and frat boys hire former frat boys, and so goes the democrat party...they will never achieve adulthood. The ones who fall by the wayside are those who sit and wait for entitlements.

This country wasn't founded by children, it was founded FOR our children to provide a place for them to grow up and enjoy freedom and prosperity, based on their will to work for their piece of the pie.

If "polarizing" is defined as demanding the rule of law, The Constitition, and freedom to pursue the American dream, then I'm all for it.

But if we need a good example of "polarizing", well, just look at our "post racial" president...the Liar-in-chief.

I AM A POLARIZING TEA PARTY MEMBER

If by polarizing, the leftists mean that I am no longer willing to silently sit back and watch them turn this nation into a 3rd world socialist hellhole, then YES, as a Tea Party member I am their polar opposite.

If by polarizing, the leftists mean that I should accept it with grace when their political stooges vote to pass 2,000+ page bills into law that they have not read nor know what burdens it imposes on the citizenry, then absolutely YES, I proudly stand as a polar opposite of what they represent.

If by polarizing, the leftists mean that I should embrace rather than resist their daily attempts to restrict and/or destroy my liberty and freedoms afforded to me by this nation's constitution, then HELL YES, I'm absolutely their polar opposite.

This is what happens when you demonize something that everyone in their heart of hearts knows is correct; exit polls and surveys will be skewed, and in the privacy of the ballot box people will be themselves, not the PC robot most of us are forced to be at work, with neighbors, etc.

What America is seeing is that the Wacky radical Left fringe has taken over and is in the process of trying to transform America into some type of European style socialist nation.
