If the RNSC isn’t supporting O’Donnell, than they’re supporting the Dems.
I think I have to quibble a bit with telling them don’t let the door hit you on the way out.
People have spoken (I sent direct to her)and I think she should graciously welcome the help, but it is on HER terms. The NRSC support will be welcome, but it will not change her candidacy one bit and frankly other than monetary support they should stay out of it. Their job should be forcefully responding to every little leak coming from “National GOP Leaders” and that’s about it.
They can either join the fight or get the hell out of the way.

I view Rove’s behavior, despicable as it is, as risk management. O’Donnell has more than the average number of vulnerabilities on the character front; and note that this is where Rove expresses reservations.
So what we have is the NRSC holding off and individual contributors rushing in to (more than) fill the void. If she wins in spite of the NRSC, then one would hope that Rove will be a big enough man to admit how stupid he is being on this. And if he’s right about the issues that could bomb her campaign, then the NRSC is effectively insulated.
I’m not saying that Rove is right. I do read what he says, and he says it with such certainty and without any reservations that I suspect that these issues will indeed dog her through the campaign.
I hope for the best; I wish her the best. I think Rove’s behavior is deplorable. But he is not going off half-cocked. He doubts her character and he seems to have reason, at least in his own mind.

I certainly wouldn’t bet against it. She’s the candidate. Period. They can step off the train any time they like but that isn’t going to make it stop running.

Make every tweet a national event. And make them good pithy and intelligent.

Thanks for the link to her campaign! I just sent her $35. Not as much as I would like to send, but what I can afford on my fixed income.
I can think of nothing that would send a more powerful, unable to ignore message than her getting tons of support and funds from all across the country!
If everyone givews $25 she will be ahead and will rack up the $$$$ in a short while..!
