Washington (CNN) – A new poll indicates that only one in four Americans say they trust the government to do what is right always or most of the time, one explanation for the anti-incumbent sentiment in the country today.
According to CNN/Opinion Research Corporation national survey released Tuesday, 25 percent of the public indicates that they trust the government in Washington to do what's is right most or all of the time, with 66 percent saying they trust the government to do what's right only some of the time and eight percent saying they never trust the government.
"That lack of trust in government is not a recent phenomenon - except for a brief spike fueled by patriotism immediately after 9/11, a majority have not trusted the government since the early 1970s," says CNN Polling Director Keating Holland. * * *

Who are those very stupid 25%? They likely interpreted as a ‘do you support Obama’ poll.
These polls who the outsider / underdog / not part of the system candidate is exactly who Republicans should be supporting.

I trust the government to:
Screw up anything they do.
Take my tax money and waste it like a lottery winner from a trailer park.
Take the longest amount of time possible to do something that the private sector can do in a matter of hours.
Grow exponentially without any clear reason.
Accumulate power to itself at the expense of the freedom of the people.
etc, etc, etc..............
Sounds about right, 25% of the population is on the dole.
I would have to assume that this 20% is the same amount of people receiving their bread and butter from government. Just sayin.

25% is only the “hard left” union whores and welfare recipients.
This is bad news. Have we slipped so far from the founding principals that a whopping 25% trust the goverment. We are doomed.
Those 25% are those who are unemployed, living off social services, those seeking government handouts/bailouts, etc. Welp, that pretty much covers all those who live in libtard states..../s =.=
I bet that is the same percentage that trusts CNN.
