Democrats will “absolutely” retain the House this fall, Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Tuesday.
Pelosi struck the upbeat tone before the first meeting of her Democratic caucus in the House since before a brutal August recess for Pelosi’s party. New polls released over the break suggest Democrats could lose this House this fall.
But Pelosi said Democrats would draw a clear contrast with Republicans and hold on to the House. She criticized the GOP as wanting to take the country back to the “failed” economy of the Bush years.

I think Republicans/Tea Party/Conservatives should be very careful not to get over confident. I think it could still go either way if the media manages to find a foothold. Whatever you do...make sure your friends and neighbors VOTE and if the lean Left leave them alone.

Yep, just keep smoking that crack Pelousi - and, keep opening your lying mouth. The people are not so dumb as you’d like to believe. Even registered democrats have caught on to realilty.

I think everyone is missing Pelosi’s point.
Democrats NEVER lose an election.
It is either stolen—GW Bush 2000&2004 or the masses are brainwashed by talk radio and angry GOP leadership—1994.
These points should be driven home by every conservative running for a House or Senate seat now until the election - sadly, I do not hear much about this fact from anyone, media or candidate.
Maybe she knows something that we don’t (but should). Dirty tricks, October surprise, declaring a national emergency and postponing the election. Nothing is beyond the scope of Democrat duplicity. We must be ever watchful...
