Quotes of the day (Karl Rove)
Hot Air ^ | 9/14/10 | Allahpundit

Posted on 09/14/2010 8:31:37 PM PDT by Lou Budvis

I just finished watching Karl Rove trashing GOP Senate primary winner Christine O’Donnell. It was on Sean Hannity’s FNC show. Might as well have been Olbermann on MSNBC. The establishment Beltway strategist couldn’t even bother with an obligatory word of congratulations for O’Donnell. He criticized her “character” and “rectitude” and claimed she hadn’t answered questions about her financial woes. She did so here. Rove mocked her security concerns as “nutty.” Yet, her concerns have been more than justified. See here.

It should have been obvious to all by 2006 that Karl Rove, the architect of amnesty, was a traitor.

We’re sick of RINOs and King-makers on the Republican side too. We don’t want idiots that vote for cap-n-tax, period. They’re called principles. Get used to it, Karl.

Their main complaint is that O’Donnell isn’t a member of the good ole boys’ elitist party.

I think Karl Rove simply stated facts.

Was the Hannity show pre-recorded before the polls closed?

Rove is a contemptible weasel. It is out in the open how the GOP establishment would rather have far left Democrats elected than people outside their social class. They are losers responsible for the debacles of the past two cycles. They did this same thing in my district in 2006. We nominated someone other than their designated hack. They pulled their money and a far left Democrat feminazi ditz was elected with GOP blessings.

Rove can schmooze with his Democrat pals all he wants, treating elections like a trip to the yacht club, but time has passed him by.

I don’t think it was pre-recorded, since he was reporting results of the primaries before they were won.

I have had some spirited debates here on FR with some Castle supporters, but I got VERY angry when Fox broke that news.

The GOP has declared war openly(They have been double talking us before). It’s us against the Ruling Class.

I didn’t see Karl Rove in that fashion.

I think he was simply stating facts about the race.

Rove doesn’t believe O’Donnell can win, for Rove, the issues do not matter, it is more important that power be attained.

I think the NRSCC pulling funding is the best thing that could have happened to O’Donnell as now she is positioned as an Outsider..and they would never spend the funds it would take to win in CT to begin with..O’Donnell is on her own.

I think he was simply stating facts about the race.

You don't do that on the night a candidate (for your own party) wins the primary. She will be voting with the Rep's not the Dem's if she wins in Nov. He could have said he wasn't sure she could win in Nov, not tear her down tonight. How does that help the Repub's?

It will be interesting to see how the media uses his sound clips. The MSM couldn't stand Rove before, but just wait and see how they pull him into their propaganda.

How does that help the Repub's? It won't help them, it will help the Tea Party candidates.

With all due respect, my FRiend, he did no such thing. In a sense, I've been where Rove is. I hated the fact that my party nominated John McCain, but because I wanted to keep Obama at the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue, I got behind the nominee and pushed. Rove should be talking about the foolish crap Coons will support instead of whining about O'Donnell's flaws. If I, a hardcore anti-McCainite, could spend half of 2008 with this as my tagline...

It's not conservative to accept an inept Commander-in-Chief in a time of war. Back Mac.

...then "The Architect" can hold his tongue for a few minutes on national TV and...gee, I dunno...BACK THE FREAKIN' REPUBLICAN NOMINEE!
