Eight Hall-of-Famers and a drunken quadriplegic from off the streets might make a team, but they’re not going to take the Series.

O’Donnell has been hammered by her own party for the last month. That will change.

We'll see.

Castle and his goons, along with the establishment magazine dweebs, will continue to trash her. The NRSC probably won't assist her, at least not with cash.

But the party has a dirty name anyway and being the outsider could help her.

Go back and tell your RINO buddies that we vote on principle.

So you voted for a write-in candidate?

Karl Rove is a trus pos. I blame this sob for Obama getting elected from bush’s rhinoism. Screw all these rhinos. I will never give to the republican party again only to candidates.

You’re right, it doesn’t matter which one won. A Rino would have been no different than a Democrat, and having a majority means nothing if you still don’t have the votes to pass conservative legislation. I like that we’re sending the Rinos a strong message. We won’t elect your lying a$$es even if it means losing. It’s the best way to force conservatives to listen to us.

Christine needs to run ads showing ads of the pos Rove trashing her-that will probably get her dem votes and certainly independants. I really despise this guy for going after Christine.

Some here don’t care about winning. It’s the difference between ideology and politics.

Yeah. Those darn people with principles. They shouldn't even be allowed to vote in primaries.

If We the People allow the MSM to define conservatism and conservative candidates...they will lose. They will define our conservatism as a Jerry Falwell caricature.

If We the People get up, hit the streets with our conservative candidates, personally spread the Constitutional message and the freedom it provides, and explain fiscal and political conservatism to independents...it wins all the time every time.

exactly....she needs to win in November...as does Joe Miller and Rubio and Kelley etc....

this needed to be done...

its the beginning of the end hopefully, for two twisted parties...

If we're not big enough to lose, we're not big enough to win....

so lets be BIG!

Good luck in the general, Christine...you’re gonna need it.

While it does give me satisfaction to see that POS Castle defeated, he could have been our ticket to the majority.

I am changing parties to Independent. Senate repubs blow!”

Cornyn is next...fracking POS

Maybe we just take the whole Party down in a few years or start another Party.

Rove is right, politically. Ideologically, he’s wrong. There is a distinction.

Here's my take. It doesn't matter if we take the Senate in 2010 as long as we take the House. Control of the House means that the Obama agenda can be stopped. It does not mean that the damage done already can be reversed. Controlling the House AND Senate does not change that fact. The Senate election that matters will be 2012 when 23 of the 33 seats up for grabs will be Democrat seats. And the only thing that will screw up our chances then will be to have a 51-49 edge in 2011-2012 and have Castle, Snowe, and Collins vote with the Democrats. The people will then rightly say that they gave the Republicans the chance but they were no different from the Democrats.

I will not be voting for any candidate that will sell me out. I will not be voting for Johnny Isakson in November because he sold me out on TARP. The Georgia GOP needs to learn the same lesson that Delaware is about to learn.

We have a great opportunity in 2012 to pick up a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate. I am not willing to risk that by supporting candidates like Mike Castle that will join the Democrats in a filibuster the first chance he gets.

When good compromises with evil, it is only evil that can profit.

DE is 20% black. They still vote in lockstep for Dems. Add that to the fuzzy DE Independents who are “uncomfortable” with any Republican not named Mike Castle or Pete DuPont, and there ya have it. Coons wins.

“I just wish the Republican party would die. The “party” is useless as far as I’m concerned. All they do is stand in the way of good candidates.”

The Republican Party must either adapt/reform, or will die as a party. I’m not betting on the former.
