NY is a very fractured system. Multiple parties. A way different animal. Not saying it couldn't BE done, but that it just hasn't. None of them have done anything to catch a spark and get their spotlight. Same in CT. OR, NY and CT are the five seats the Dems are most likely to Keep. But they are going to LOSE most ALL the rest. Our gain is 12+ 52-47-1. Control.

That's good to hear. That boy's had me worried lately.
Perhaps you can give me the Lottery numbers for this week or the Super Bowl winner since you can read the future so well. She may surprise everybody and win the entire thing.
Pray for America
Y’all are forgetting ONE thing:
All this stock political theory and historical
calculating might have worked BO +APs (before
Obama and the appeasing Pubbies.)
We’ve experienced life now AO .. AFTER OBAMA.
THE WORLD DID CHANGE! THE SLEEPING GIANT HAS
BEEN AWAKENED!
You sure could be right and although I don’t want to read too much in addition to what Rove said, I can’t help but to remember that he’s never been one to come to Sarah Palin’s defense in any forceful manner when she’s been viciously smeared, so it’s almost as though he’s taking a shot at “Sarah’s candidate”, but forgetting that Senator DeMint and Rush Limbaugh (for whom he recently guest hosted) ALSO ENDORSED HER.
Congrats Fish, your dream came true. Now lets go shock the world. None of the Pundiots are giving her a fart’s chance in a Hurricane of raising a stink, so what have you got to lose.
Pray for America
Heh.
Not only that....I got to have lunch with him!
lookit, I was full of myself about it. I showed that pic to my husband and he thought I’d lost my mind.
This was all arranged, I’m not making this up. I was working in the Georgetown Del GOP office. I showed up and the Sussex GOP head says Mike Castle’s coming down today, he would like to have lunch with us and if I wanted he’d be happy to have a picture taken with me.
See....you might find this hard to believe, but I am a writer. I blog and post on local Blogs and I don’t go anywhere around these parts they don’t know me, maybe not by face but soon as I tell my name.
Mike Castle’s flackie, gal named Kate Roehrer now out of a job, knew I was disgruntled with Castle. This was back in 2005 and even then Castle was walking on thin ground.
It was okay, Castle was a nice guy but I guess he had to be. He pays for that little GOP office. Castle pays for everything around this way which is why he had so much power.
Hey, Christine O’donnell did the same thing. I get this invitation by a friend to a swimming party. I get there and she tells me there’s a surprise visitor. In comes Christine O’Donnell!
I got to sit with Christine for a couple of hours that day. She went over all her warts and stuff and I’d known Christine from the very first time she ran for office...on a write in no less...back in 2005.
Christine knew I posted on a lot of Blogs, Facebook...FreeRepublic even. Lookit, there are people that watch this kind of thing....more than you know.
I genuinely like Christine. Every time I see her she tells me something new...just so I “know”.
Heh.
This thing with Castle worked for a while. I got full of myself. I defended him, justified voting for him, used the power of my words, such as they are, to defend giving him another vote..”just one more time” like I’d say.
You can fool all of the people SOME of the time, SOME of the people ALL of the time...but never ALL of the people ALL of the time.
Mike Castle failed when he tried to fool all of the people all of the time.
I saw that. Good job!
Good information and insight. Thanks, truthfreedom.
“Not only that, now Dems do not need to spend a dime in the state.”
They weren’t going to in the first place. They assumed the seat was not in play. Now it is. So they’ll spend a chunk of money trying to win it. They might win. They might not.
This is the best of both worlds for conservatives. If Christine wins, we get a bona fide conservative in the Senate in a state that hasn’t sent one to the Senate in decades. If she loses, it cost the Democrats lots to win it and in the end, the other Republican wouldn’t have been markedly different than the Democrat anyway.
Turns out Coons is a certified Marxist... the GOP is freaking nuts to throw this away because their guy lost..
And just how do you propose to have a revolution without winning general elections? Yes it feels great to show RINOS the door e. g. Murkowski but you need a strong candidate as an alternative. Sorry, Christine may have the proper values and policies but she is fatally flawed as a candidate. Particularly in a blue state.
This will make you smile...below...Me with Christine O'Donnell....from 2005!
“If they want a civil war, they’re gonna get it. As I’ve said to you before BC, I think the establishment may just be willing to accept a fracturing of the party rather than capitulate like they did in 1980. It may be 1964 all over again. Not good.”
But Al, they didn’t capitulate in 1980. Remember Mary Dent Crisp and the walkout in Detroit and John Anderson. They are in a much weaker position now.
And in Sarah Palin, they face a more formidable foe than even Reagan was. I gotta tell you....I am very optimistic about this November. O’Donnell, Miller, Angle, Fiorina, Paul and either Lamontagne or Ayotte all win. And 2012 too. Reagan had no Senate allies except Laxalt, Helms and Gordon Humphrey. Palin will have the six I listed plus Demint and probably Inhofe and Coburn (at least).
The Establishment is gonna make a lot of noise, but just remember, guys like Rove are similar to that Bitney dude in AK...totally inept. SP will be not just three moves ahead of those dim bulbs but more like seven or eight.
He pretty much seems to hate Palin is my take on Rove.
hiya Bray...
Yes...I’m a happy guy.
Good to see ya.
I've explained. Everyone has explained, ad nauseum! And it was NOT "our" seat in the first place. Geez! What is with you?
We get it, you think Castle should've won. Okay, alright already. He didn't, move on.
>>>...Christine may have the proper values and policies but she is fatally flawed as a candidate. <<<
You protest too much.
