Wow, what stupidity.

While it's understandable to oppose Castle, I'm sorry Rush is playing fast and loose with the facts. I don't think he's stupid enough to not understand the parliamentary procedures employed here, but maybe I'm wrong.

Yep Castle voted for "aye" on this resolution, but only for procedural reason. Peter King and Kevin Brady - hardly two "liberal" Representatives, also voted "aye".

A more detailed explanation may be found here.

You should educate yourself before posting such inflammatory idiocy.

No, he actually didn’t.

This is pretty clear.

Not that I like Castle, but he did not vote to support impeachment proceedings.

I was wondering who the 24 were. One was Frank Wolf, 10th district of Virginia; I remember at the time he gave some explanation about how it was reasonable to vote to send a bill to committee, where it would likely die, instead of leaving it out as an issue by not voting to send it to committee.

On the other hand, the measure to send it to committee passed easily without his vote, so his vote was symbolic.

And, of course, the bill died in the committee, so sending it to committee accomplished it’s purpose. I also think Frank thought it was reasonable to do investigations, in order to discover the truth, but even my own moderate congressman Tom Davis voted against.

Castle scores 43% from CFG for 2009, (since his announced Senate bid)

In 07 and 08 he earned a 35% and 26% respectively.

So in 2008, when Arlen Specter scored a 44%, Mike Castle scored a 26%.

Castle’s votes:

Tax hikes, card check, pork bills, light-bulb bans, 10-commandment bans, drilling bans, in-state tuition campaign-finance reform, TARP legislation, Disclose Act, extension of McCain/Feingold to the Internet.

Doubling of S-CHIP, a “bipartisan” tax-dollar giveaway to Planned Parenthood.

Castle votes with Pelosi 72% of the time.

Mike Castle has been on the public dole since 1966.

Any protestations about his “Bush Lied” vote are hollow.

His other votes give him no credibility as a reasonable man, he votes as commie-lib, he attacks conservatives.

What more does one need to know.

Cross posting

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*snip*
Castle’s campaign questions O’Donnell’s trustworthiness. GOP primary voters need to question Castle’s. He was just one of two Republicans to vote for the $26 billion Edujobs/BigGovJobs bailout a few weeks ago. He supported the TARP bailout that benefited many of his political donors.
And he is the co-founder of the George Soros-tied Republican Main Street Partnership — which, as I reported in 2005, successfully pressured the House GOP majority to cave in to enviros on the ANWR drilling ban.
The Republican Main Street Partnership PAC supports ACORN-friendly, Big Labor-backing, tax-and-spend, abortion radicals in GOP clothing like Dede Scozzafava.
This isn’t “Main Street.” This is the road to progressive hell. We already have one too many shady Soros Republicans in the Senate — and John McCain doesn’t need any more company.
