Via the Right Scoop. Theres nothing here that you havent heard before, but since true conservatives are in RINO-stomp mode towards Paul Mirengoff and John McCormack and Jim Geraghty and a bunch of other people who were conservatives in good standing as of, say, four days ago, lets make sure the stealth liberal known as Charles Krauthammer takes his licks too.
The only part of CKs monologue that I disagree with is the capricious part: Im sure Palin and DeMint made their endorsements with due deliberation, knowing how much it would please their base. (They certainly took long enough to pull the trigger.) And from a philosophical point of view, endorsing ODonnell is a win/win/win for them.
If ODonnell beats Castle and then shocks Coons in November, theyll get all the credit; if Castle pulls it out and sends ODonnell packing, they can at least tell their base that they were on the side of the angels; if, as is most likely, ODonnell beats Castle and then gets steamrolled by Coons, well, the beauty of true conservatism is that the highest priority is defeating RINOs, not Democrats.
They won the important fight, and without Castle in the Senate, the GOP brand will remain pure and principled and therefore well positioned for the eventual true conservative takeover of Congress. Like the man said, better 30 Marco Rubios than 60 Arlen Specters.

Castle is also a virtual democrat. We don't need another Susan Collins/Olympia Snowe out there. We need somebody that understands and adheres to the text and original intent of the constitution.
I think we got the enemies right, but we certainly missed at least one big one. Patton was right about Russia!
The article predicts that Krauthammer will be vilified as a RINO-lover because he points out what a bad candidate O’Donnell is and says endorsing her creates a destructive civil war and, lo and behold, we have a thread vilifying Krauthammer as a RINO-lover. This whole O’Donnell / Castle primary has been very poisonous on —wait for it — both sides and it has been so poisonous that it won’t end with the primary, sadly.
That’s the problem.

The arguments on this thread are interesting and somewhat predictable, but frustating as all get out to me.
First, just to get it on the table, I am a huge Palin fan, I love CK, I reluctantly voted for McCain for Prez, and I supported his run in AZ, from afar, aganst JD...largely because JD was “unelectable”.
And that’s just the point. I would hope our candidates are electable! And, frankly, being a “conservative” just isn’t enough, in spite of the canard that “conservatives win every time”. They don’t. Otherwise California would have Senator Herschensohn, instead of Boxer.
Castle may be a RINO but he didn’t vote for Pelosi for Speaker (at least I’m pretty sure he didn’t). And he wouldn’t vote for Harry Reid in the Senate.
And that’s my second point. As a Californian, I would hope that those who were DeVore supporters don’t sit on their hands and not vote for Carly because some may feel she’s not “conservative” enough for them. That simply means we get more Boxer.
And in Nevada, where the die is cast, if Angle doesn’t beat Harry Reid, then I am going to put the blame squarely where it belongs...on the tea partiers who just can’t compromise their precious principles and cut their nose off to spite their face.
The objective is to win where and when we can. If we allow winnable seats to be lost then we will continue to see more of the last two years...and if in anyway the Dems see that they can survive this predicted tsunami, their arrogance will be insufferabe, their assault on our freedoms unstoppable.
This is the great thing about elections, YOU RUN TO WIN THE ELECTION. . .HELLO!!??. . .YOU RUN TO WIN THE ELECTION. You don't just run for office to just run for office. That's the great thing about elections. . .you run to win. . . .and I don't care if you don't have any wins. . .you run to win. When you start telling me, it doesn't matter. . .then retire. . .GET OUT!. . .cause it matters. . .so. . .so.. .I . .tha tha that. . tha tha that. . .this whole conversation bothers me.
I love Krauthammer. I love DeMint and Palin.
I’ll give him a pass on this one.
Krauthammer liked Obama too before he was elected.
That's because Krauthammer is and has long been a voice for establishment Republicans, just like Bill Kristol, Fred Barnes, et al. It was Krauthammer who said on Special Report "An Obama administration won't be that bad".....
Sir Charles needs to climb off his “high horse” inside the beltway and come out and meet the great mass of “unwashed” and he will change his “wise owl” bovine secretions. He frankly is becoming a pain in the posterior with his know it all attitude!
McCain won. Murkowski lost. Time for riund three against these worthless hacks.
“Theres actually a very peaceful revolution going on and some like DeMint and Palin are on the right side of history. “
You’re one of the people here able to put into words exactly what the founders left us - the tools for a slow revolution.
I disagree with calling him a troll.
Vietnam Vet has it correct for his location in PA.
“Thats a great point.”
Actually, the poster was wrong. Castle is not a “virtual win”. He is polling under 50% as the de facto incumbent, and this was before completely alienating the most energetic part of the voting public. He is toast in the general, should he win today.
He probably should have had an easy road to the Senate, but he blew it. Whatever argument you have for voting for Castle, or supporting Castle, cannot include electability, since that is no longer valid.
This one? This one? He's habitual when it comes to slamming Sarah!
LOL!
truth is only half his handle
sarc tag NOT needed
