From the CIA World Factbook:

Soviet citizens were encouraged to help cultivate Kazakhstan's northern pastures. This influx of immigrants (mostly Russians, but also some other deported nationalities) skewed the ethnic mixture and enabled non-Kazakhs to outnumber natives. Independence in 1991 caused many of these newcomers to emigrate. Kazakhstan's economy is larger than those of all the other Central Asian states combined largely due to the country's vast natural resources and a recent history of political stability. Current issues include: developing a cohesive national identity; expanding the development of the country's vast energy resources and exporting them to world markets; achieving a sustainable economic growth; diversifying the economy outside the oil, gas, and mining sectors; enhancing Kazakhstan's competitiveness; and strengthening relations with neighboring states and other foreign powers.

Muslim 47%, Russian Orthodox 44%, Protestant 2%, other 7%

It seems rather obvious they were saboteurs and should have been tried and then executed.

and im skeptical that 3 Spetsnaz men on a mission would meekly surrender to a county deputy, or a game warden.

don’t forget the Russian numbers station that came out with a new message the other week. What a great place to set off a nuke, right beside a nuke power plant. the left would go nuts and we would have to shut them all down.

good point,,, if a nuke ever went off at a power plant, nobady could convince the public that it wasn’t an accident at the plant.

it is MORE

if ruski take out THAT plant

they also destroy i-95

then Florida is CUT OFF!!!!!!!

East coast electric grid may go OFF for ..God may be for weeks if not more

IT IS AN END TO USA as we know it

If God forbid..
it will be most lokely followed by MORE attacks:
a weak USA becomes a easy pray for Castro, Chavez, Chinese and of course:

ruski strategioc rocket forces(about 4 times more nukes then USA)

and ANTHRAX, dont forget THAT it was also russian

I’m not going to pretend to be an expert on something I’m not, namely how the Soviet Union worked. Let’s just assume your theory is correct. It is suprising that this story has not ‘grown legs’ after four days.

The question I have is why?

Plant McIntosh is a coal-fired steam plant, not a nuclear plant.

Those guys look awfully young.

Looks can be deceiving I guess, but they certainly don’t look like Spetsnaz to me.
