Kathy you are talking about a group that is near and dear to my heart. Our son has been a member of Marsoc since its beginning. I know many of his friends and I can tell you they are some of the smartest and best our military has to offer.
Marsoc has quickly gotten up to speed in the SpecOps community and are contributing all over the world right now.

Back last winter my wife and I attended the funeral of my son's best friends,Gunny Rob Gilbert, KIA in Afghanistan. I got to meet the Commanding General of Marsoc and he made the comment that what impressed him most about his operators was not their fighting skills, but their “20 pound brains”.
