The imam leading the effort to build an Islamic community center and mosque near ground zero says there is a "misperception" that the proposed site is sacred ground.

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf said Monday that the location where the center would be built, two blocks from the World Trade Center, has a strip joint and betting parlors nearby. He says it's "absolutely disingenuous" to suggest that it is "hallowed ground."

Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf knows better ~ this site is PART of GZ. An airplane undercarriage as well as an engine that'd just then been scooping up human beings, crashed into the roof of this building and fell in.

If Ground Zero isn't hallowed ground, why is it so important to build his mosque right there?

And the very same leftist politicians who rushed to give zoning permission to build a mosque there, have spent 7 years holding up the required permits to rebuilt the damaged church.

It's actually far grimmer than a mere victory mosque. What we have here is the last large building that's part of the GZ complex of buildings that Mohammad Atta attacked ~ and it's still standing.

These guys intend to tear it down and complete Atta's attack.

This calls for a forceful military response to the Imam and his running dog lackeys.
