Police: Suspect Takes Taxi Cab To Rob Bank (Picked Wrong Cab, 2nd Ammendment Driver)

ATLANTA -- A taxi driver received the shock of his life when a man who had hitched a ride in the cab asked to stop at an ATM, but later came running out of the bank with cash and a gun in hand, police said.

Witnesses told Young that the taxi driver then got out of the cab and chased the man down the street with his own gun.

The driver shot at the man five times, and missed, before police arrived at the scene, police said. They said that the cabbie will not be charged in the incident.

The man was taken into custody and police have recovered a weapon as well, said Atlanta police spokesman Officer Otis Redmond.

He should be. That's reckless endangerment. A fellow in Mesa a few years back shot at somebody fleeing, and killed a kid that was out by a motel swimming pool.
