Karen B., a Los Angeles writer in her 40s, found a sperm donor on Craigslist after she and her lesbian partner decided to have a baby.
"I tried every male friend, gay, straight, married and single, but it was really difficult to find somebody," said Karen. "I was running out of options and my biological clock was ticking."
After connecting on the Internet, she and the donor, Daniel C., signed a layman's agreement that the child would live with Karen and she would make all parenting decisions. He would have some visitation rights.
"I always wanted the baby to know the father," said Karen, who had originally intended to use a family friend's sperm until she discovered he was HIV positive.
But as the pregnancy progressed, Daniel interjected himself into the couple's life, even telling the doctor he was Karen's husband, even though he was gay.

Does that mean they have no financial obligations either? Why should they be “punished with a baby” < /Obama >

Yep, that’s why the headline is rather offensive. It’s his son, he ain’t stalking!
I find it telling that the woman couldn’t get it to work with any of the men. I’m guessing she wanted the sperm only, and not the man attached, so they all told her to go to hell.

So ABC Disney is now running news items on lawsuits by people that don’t even have last names?
What trash television.

Shows that the natural urges and desires are to mate with the opposite sex and have a family.
When mental illness and perversion and promoted as normal and natural, people suffer - especially children. It is really tragic.

Know a little "Christian" school nearby with an abundance single ladies on faculty who regularly birth babies from sperm donors. Two mommy families with every school benefits and day care too. These teachers proudly share these blessed events with their students.
Parents have engineered uniquely complicated families of their own. One pair of mothers both divorced and remarried. Fortunately their daughter has empathetic elementary school counselor to sort it all out.

These are some confused people. She talks about her biological clock ticking and he objects to his son calling both women "Mommy". And he tells the doctor that he's her husband.
These people WANT normal things but don't want to get help and do things the right way. They want to take "normal" and make it fit with their deviancy. And it doesn't work. This little kid will pay for the rest of his life because his parents are living in la la land and they think they're normal.

This is one reason the traditional way is better...you get to find out whether the donor’s a freak beforehand.

How is the donor a freak? He decided he wanted to parent his son and doesn’t want him to call both women “Mommy”. And she admits that all the men she knew turned her down. One has to wonder why.

The old way to do this was SO much easier. Go to San Diego, find a nice guy, get fresh with him, tell him your name is Suzi and that you are from Nashville and that you are on the pill. Never speak to him again. How difficult is this?LOL.

"I was running out of options and my biological clock was ticking." That line is what really stands out.
When a single woman says her biological clock is ticking, she usually means that she can't find a husband. That is, she understands that marriage with a man is necessary for starting a family, and she's saying that a father is an important person in a child's life.
But, when this woman says her biological clock was ticking, she meant she couldn't find a man who would donate his sperm, leave her alone, and agree not to be very involved in the child's life. How twisted is that?
