A national Islamic group has called for an FBI investigation after a burned Quran, its pages allegedly covered in feces, was found Saturday at an East Lansing mosque frequented by the Michigan State University community.

The death an 81-year-old white man, attending his granddaughter's wedding, by physical assault by 3 black teenagers -- who were attempting to impress some young girls -- this is not a hate crime.
Oh get over it. . Grow up. That’s flyspeck in the ocean compared to the confrontational Ground Zero “mosque” thing .. where’s ur effin outrage over that?

In virginia a while back a burned quran turned up in a plastic back at a mosque. It had the mosque up in arms and crying hate crimes. The government was all about this being a hate crime until they found out it was a fellow muslim who did it. His house burned down (or something like that) then he wanted to give the quran back to the mosque for proper disposal. He was on his way out of the country and didn’t have time to wait for the Imam to explain what happened.
So who knows maybe this feces covered quran accidently fell in a port-a-pot and they just want it disposed or properly. Of course, I would have just left it in the port-a-pot as that’s pretty close to proper disposal of the quran.
As usual.
We’re lucky on two counts. One of course is the 1st Amendment. The other is that although we have “hate crime” laws, hate isn’t actually a crime here. It is a sentence modifier to real crimes.
Once we allowed fedzilla into our minds with “hate crime” legislation we completely destroyed the 1st Amendment.
We are now at a real risk of a progressive infested government (mainly dems but way too many republicans) being allowed to incarcerate us based on our thoughts.
Just one more right lost and we did nothing.
So from now on, every time someone burns the American flag publicly, or burns a Christian Bible publicly, they can be sued for a ‘hate crime’?

That’s what I asked when this happened. What Federal law was broken that necessitates an investigation by the FBI?
