Why questions about Obama’s faith, background refuse to die

Why do questions persist about President Obama’s faith and birth certificate?
A national survey by the Pew Research Center found that nearly one-in-five Americans, 18 percent, now say Obama is a Muslim, up from 11 percent in March 2009. Only about one-third of adults, 34 percent, say Obama is a Christian, down sharply from 48 percent in 2009.
The president was finally prompted to address the issue recently.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” Obama said during an interview with NBC “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams.
“I think both questions can be answered similarly,” said David Dulio, chairman of Oakland University’s political science department.
“I think there is confusion because the president’s opponents planted a seed early on with things like complaints that Obama will not produce his birth certificate, questions about where he was born, etc.; his middle name, Hussein — and I’m not saying this is appropriate — likely leads some to question it,” Dulio said.
“President Obama’s opponents have found something that seems to be sticking with at least part of the electorate. That’s why it persists.”
“In logical terms, this one is a mystery to me,” said Peter Trumbore, associate professor of political science at OU.
“It seems to fit with the general pattern of belief in conspiracy theories — whether we’re talking about advance knowledge of Pearl Harbor, 9/11 truthers, New World Order, or the NAFTA superhighway. In all of these cases, evidence to the contrary simply becomes more evidence of the conspiracy,” Trumbore said.

The document he's already provided, which is a perfectly valid document given out by the State of Hawaii, lists his birth place as Honolulu.
Anyone not convinced by this will likely dismiss the long-form certificate, too.

When they asked O to become the Caliph for all of Islam it left no doubt about what religion he is. The Caliph is the top leader of all of Islam. No one in there right mind should have any doubt about what religion he is.

We know about Obama’s father because he told us, on his web site “fightthesmears.com,” in his two autobiographies, in his speeches supporting his KGB educated, Muslim cousin, the one who signed a reelection agreement with Islamists to impose Sharia law on Christian Kenya if he is elected. In support of Obama’s claim, he told us on the same web site that he was born a “subject of the British Commonwealth” because Kenya was colony of Britain in 1961. It is a tautology! No one "born a subject of the Crown" can also be a "natural born citizne of the U.S."
Obama also said he was born a dual citizen, which isn't really relevant, except that there is a supreme court decision which directly addresses dual citizenship. A dual citizen does not have “sole allegiance” by definition, and is in no way a “born citiizen”. Obama told us “I am a native born citizen of the U.S.” Native born citizens are citizens by “jus soli” - having been born on our soil. Unless their parents are citizens, natural born, native, or naturalized, they are not natural born citizens.
You ask, as did I, “How can that be?” Some authority would have blown the whistle.
It happened with the help of a clever political maneuver. Why would Democrats hold Senate Judiciary Committee hearings apparently in support of John McCain's eligibility to the presidency, particularly after Democrats brought two lawsuits, generated well over a dozen legal briefs and law review articles explaining why McCain was ineligible in anticipation of McCain's presidential run in 2000?
The Dems had full control of the 2008 election. If McCain had won, they would have raised his ineligibility. He would have raised Obama’s, and Hillary would be president. McCain's legal support, provided by Obama friends, Chicago's Kirkland and Ellis, sat on Obama’s campaign committee. McCain provided cover for Obama. It was a quid pro quo. McCain may well have wanted to win, but sold his soul and sold out his country for an opportunity to finish his spotty career at the top.
Senate Bill 2678 in Feb 2008 by McCaskill and Obama was about passing a law making foreign-born children of military eligible to be president. It was all about McCain, and agitprop for the peons because a law cannot amend the Constitution. That didn't have the votes, since senators all knew what was going on, so they went to a resolution, SenRes 511 on Apr 30 2008 with the same cast of characters, except that Pat Leahy was the principal sponsor. This action cleverly avoided the issue addressed by the failed SB2678, McCain's birth in foreign land. It claimed that satisfying the two citizen parent requirement was sufficient to satisfy natural born citizenship.
From the Leahy press release, since scrubbed from his site:
“My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen,” Chertoff replied. “That is mine, too,” said Leahy.
Every senator signed that political wish that it would be really nice if McCain could run; if we simply ignore the jus soli requirement this one time, the old and potentially nasty maverick will keep all our lobbyists happy. They all know the legislature cannot amend the Constitution with a law. It takes 2/3 of both houses and 3/4 of the states, and no one was that serious about amending Article II for McCain.
With McCain running, Republicans were silenced. With Obama in office, Chicago rules, no one dares ask questions. One Congressman did, Nathan Deal of Georgia, and was responded to with ethics charges. No individual can fight a crooked justice department. Look what they did to Scooter Libby. The U.S. attorney, Patrick Fitzgerald, never had to answer for lying to the public for three years, bringing jail and near financial ruin to Libby, and came back to derail the FBI investigation of Rezko, Obama’s slumlord,landlord, and money launderer, and silence Blagojevich.
Why don't our conservative pundits tell the truth? Look how long it took to end Lou Dobb's 40 year career. Waleed bin Talal is Fox New's largest shareholder. Levin and Beck have skeletons, even a bankruptcy for Levin, and couldn't afford to battle a crooked justice department. They do what they can. They both lead you to the founders and framers, but leave you to read Marshall or Story or David Ramsay, or James Wilson, because if they even touch the hot button, they can't win. The safest thing for them, and this is not criticism, is to steer clear of Article II. Even the 14th Amendment is dangerous because of John Bingham's unequivocal clarification of natural born citizenship. "...is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen….
Corruption runs through government and sadly, the military. The ruling class has too much to lose. The Alinsky ridicule campaign executed by the state-run media have frightened the less-informed into dismissing the perfectly clear requirements enunciated in our Constitution and common law clarifed by five chief justices and over a dozen justices of the supreme court, along with help from Michael Chertoff, Patrick Leahy and Clair McCaskill.
Separation of powers is probably why Roberts executed the oath. The supreme court is an appeals court. I've asked if they have original jurisdiction. They might if Arizona, for example, would questions Obama’s authority to challenge them legally. Justice Thomas made a comment during senate hearings to the effect that “we are evading that issue”, referring to confirming the definition of eligibility.
The case most likely to reach the supreme court appears to be the Kerchner/Apuzzo case. Retired Naval Commander Kerchner had the foresight to send registered letters to congress during the Summer of 2008 asking them to investigate Obama’s eligibility as they had investigated McCain's - six times. Dozens of congressmen ignored Kerchner’s letters creating an equal protection violation.
The Army doctor, Lakin, refused orders to return to the middle east, asking for a court martial because he could find no other means of ascertaining Obama’s authority, and military officers swear to defend the Constitution, not the president. John Marshall said we are “...a nation of laws, and not of men.” Currently, that is not the case. Lakin has been denied access to any proof of Obama’s legitimacy, kept in a mental ward and out of contact with the media, his mental state questioned - shades of the USSR and re-education camps. Lakin, of course, many times decorated, three tours in the middle east and eager to serve again, had the courage of his convictions about a commander in chief whose decisions cost the lives of our patriotic defenders.
A long answer huh? We are paying crooks to manage us. They don't question Obama because they haven't the courage to face the media, and because they are ‘on-the-take,’ because that is the way they stay in office.

Kudos on so aptly demonstrating the described behavior. Contrary evidence undermines your thesis? Well, um...it's forged! That's right, the contrary evidence must have been forged by mysterious actors!

And there is plenty of evidence that the announcements are forged also but I’ll wait until I’ve got the final piece of evidence in that before I say much more.
But what interested me in this report is that the author quoted other people’s allusions to evidence - without ever claiming what evidence existed. They know this the “evidence” is problematic, and they know that if they don’t couch the claims in a citation by somebody else they would be liable for the false information.
