Why do questions persist about President Obama’s faith and birth certificate?
A national survey by the Pew Research Center found that nearly one-in-five Americans, 18 percent, now say Obama is a Muslim, up from 11 percent in March 2009. Only about one-third of adults, 34 percent, say Obama is a Christian, down sharply from 48 percent in 2009.
The president was finally prompted to address the issue recently.
“I can’t spend all of my time with my birth certificate plastered on my forehead,” Obama said during an interview with NBC “Nightly News” anchor Brian Williams.
“I think both questions can be answered similarly,” said David Dulio, chairman of Oakland University’s political science department.
“I think there is confusion because the president’s opponents planted a seed early on with things like complaints that Obama will not produce his birth certificate, questions about where he was born, etc.; his middle name, Hussein — and I’m not saying this is appropriate — likely leads some to question it,” Dulio said.
“President Obama’s opponents have found something that seems to be sticking with at least part of the electorate. That’s why it persists.”
“In logical terms, this one is a mystery to me,” said Peter Trumbore, associate professor of political science at OU.
“It seems to fit with the general pattern of belief in conspiracy theories — whether we’re talking about advance knowledge of Pearl Harbor, 9/11 truthers, New World Order, or the NAFTA superhighway. In all of these cases, evidence to the contrary simply becomes more evidence of the conspiracy,” Trumbore said.

I don’t really care for the whole “birth certificate” angle, but to the question of his Religion. There is NO “Question”. HE IS MUSLIM.
Islam, is a Christian Heresy. It is a political ideology. It is NOT in and of itself a ‘religion’ as are the rest of all the religions of the Earth.
Obama says he is a “Christian” he is.... an APOSTATE one! And his particular Apostasy is called commonly “Islam”.

The funny thing is that Bush faced similar questions about his military service record. Bush opened his records so that everyone knew the truth. Why does 0bama think that he should be exempt from such scrutiny?

The law allows a non-Christian to become POTUS, but he MUST be a natural born citizen, which Obozo is not, in all likelihood.
I think it is because Caliph Ayatollah Obama is a muslim born to a radical extremist in Kenya, raised in Indonesia by a muslim, practices radical Alinskey socialist nationalism, and lies like a dog. Except that is an insult to dogs because lots of dogs have papers and the Mullah does not.
It will be resolved during the 2011 presidential campaign when States begin requiring submission of birth certificates in order to be placed on the primary and/or general election ballots.

This is why Barry has so much sympathy for illegal aliens. He doesn’t like it whenever anyone asks to see his “papers”. It’s one of those “Question Authority” things that his mommy taught him.
He may or may not be. But, will we ever know? For sure? Or what if we find out, say 3 years AFTER in the Middle of the DeMint/Palin administration or something? That won't do us any good here and now. Here and now... we should have all hands on deck for the 2010 elections. People like ODonnell MUST win. Or the RINOs won't do a damned thing to look into any of this in 2011.
