You've got it Biggredd1 (this isn't Big Red from Palin Country is it?). As long as most people remain uninformed we haven't the critical mass which seems essential to our courts honoring their oaths. Judges are political appointees. They are sadly more beholden to the party (a private business) which elected them than to the law. The birth certificate ploy is clever propaganda, and worked for Chester Arthur as well. The idea: just hide it; it will distract them from the truth, which requires that they actually read!

Ohio Congressman, Army Major, prosecuting Judge Advocate in the Lincoln assassination, and principal author of the 14th Amendment John Bingham addressing the House in 1866:

I find no fault with the introductory clause [S 61 Bill], which is simply declaratory of what is written in the Constitution, that every human being born within the jurisdiction of the United States of parents not owing allegiance to any foreign sovereignty is, in the language of your Constitution itself, a natural born citizen….

Chief Justice, Founder, Framer, John Marshall said in The Venus, 12 U.S. 253:

“The citizens are the members of the civil society; bound to this society by certain duties, and subject to its authority, they equally participate in its advantages. The natives or indigenes are those born in the country of parents who are citizens. Society not being able to subsist and to perpetuate itself but by the children of the citizens, those children naturally flollow the condition of their fathers, and succeed to all their rights.

Chief Justice Morrison Waite, in Minor v. Happersett, provided the definition again, this time the citation used on our own government website in its annotated Constitution, and used by Horace Gray in Wong Kim Ark, to allow no uncertainty about who were natural born citizens - and Wong Kim, a "Native born citizen of the U.S.," exactly the term used by Barack to define his own citizenship, was explicity a "citizen," not natural born, because, while born on our soil, his parents were not citizens.

"The Constitution does not, in words, say who shall be natural-born citizens. Resort must be had elsewhere to ascertain that. At common-law, with the nomenclature of which the framers of the Constitution were familiar, it was never doubted that all children born in a country of parents who were its citizens became themselves, upon their birth, citizens also. These were natives, or natural-born citizens, as distinguished from aliens or foreigners."

Least there be any doubt, Judge Michael Chertoff, in April 2008 in a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing which produced a resolution having no force of law, Senate Res 511, said:

“My assumption and my understanding is that if you are born of American parents, you are naturally a natural-born American citizen,” Chertoff replied. “That is mine, too,” said Leahy.

Barack Obama, born a British Subject, of a British father, does not satisfy the constitutional eligibility requirements for president, and is not legally our president.
