Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and Republican challenger Sharron Angle remained deadlocked in Nevada's Senate race, with Reid holding a statistically-insignificant 46 percent to 44 percent lead, according to a Mason-Dixon Polling & Research survey conducted Sept. 7-9 for the Las Vegas-Review Journal. Six percent are undecided and the rest do not like either choice. The margin of error is 4 points.
Two weeks ago, Mason-Dixon had Reid at 46 percent and Angle at 45 percent. A Rasmussen Reports poll conducted Sept. 1 had the two tied at 45 percent each.

The money is going to start rolling in for Sharron as it gets closer to election day.

Both candidates seem to be stuck in place. Anything can happen.

Can you think of any political race where the incumbent, running under 50%, wins? The “undecided” almost always break hard for the challenge at the last minute. I cannot see any reason for optimism in the Reid camp

Reid’s only hope is that Angle’s negatives are almost as high as his are.

Reid has already spent mega-millions to crush Angle and yet she's still around. The odds of the economy improving in NV before November are slim. Reid will end up being the Rain Man...hitting on 20. Bust.

If it remains neck and neck, Harry's criminal machine will cook up enough votes to win. Democrats are lying cheaters, their party a criminal enterprise, their leadership a gaggle of thugs. Harry just has a mormon patina he thinks hides his criminal face.

Exactly right. With all the money Reid has thrown into the race and as an incumbent he is only tied. You are correct in that as November draws near Sharron will be able to start spending her cash and get her message out there.

I forgot to add I just sent her another $25 for the campaign. I will do it two more times before election day.

ALL these MASON DIXON POLLS COOKED UP FOR THE LVR are SLANTED with SUCH PHONEY STATS AS 30 % OF GOP VOTING FOR REID. THE LVR is cooking these poll results.

I cannot see any reason for optimism in the Reid camp How about their ability to fix the vote? I've long wondered if Reid has mafia ties.

It happened one year earlier this decade in a CO senate race. Allen came back to get 52pct after polls right up to election day had him tied in low to mid 40s with his opponent.

Angle's campaign has improved. She is talking to reporters and giving complete answers. She is focusing on core issues such as jobs and leaving the fire-and-brimstone stuff alone.
Angle has already positioned her views as mainstream. She is clearly going after the center while not compromising. I think independents are going to break for her at the last minute.
