Yeah, zero tolerance at work again. I'm glad my kids don't go there.

Dear God, what is the matter with our schools. His father was killed, did they not care?

It's good that our education system has so many "experts" out there to keep an eye on "the children".

Wow. Maybe next if some one looks skinny and is really pale we can accuse them of being an addict and force them into drug treatment. And if another kid looks tired we can blame them for using heroin. Hell, lets just place stereotypes on everyone. Wait, I thought that was wrong to do ?

How sad for this young guy. What’s going on in that town? They were in the news just a couple of days ago for something odd.

anyone else find it ironic that Byron Nelson’s name is on this school and the town’s name contains the word ‘Trophy’ ?
even Texas has its own fair share of incongruities and folks that are on a different plain from you or I.

What is wrong with the school administrators? I cannot imagine how they could lack any compassion for what this boy was going through. I hope they all get fired. There are way too many administrators getting paid for being ignorant. . .Kind of like the Obama Czars. . .

Monstrous behavior. These officials think the universe revolves around their little kingdoms.

I was at first struck by how absolutely uncaring the staff was - until I realized this was a typical (massive) TX high school
The staff doesn't know this kid from Adam.
WHich menas on too many levels they likely don know or care about ANY of the students.
The school IS NOT your avg ghetto school in DFW - new and very high end. The school website screams "rich & liberal" to this old fool.
Glad I don't have to go to school in this environment, I would be out on the street before the first week was up....

I bet this same “caring” school would allow a girl to be taken to an abortion clinic to end the pregnancy, without the consent of parents.
Parents:
KNOW that when you sign a release for emergency medical treatment, that has BEEN USED to JUSTIFY your daughter getting an abortion. If the school nurse or a “guidance” counselor is aware of this being a “problem”, THAT form YOU signed for emergency medical care IS BEING USED to leave school premises and have the “emergency” of murdering the baby part of “emergency medical treatment.” This was so cruel and cold to a boy losing his father. Didn't they ASK him first about what was bothering him? Surely it was in the paper. Here a boy goes to school to find comfort with friends and he gets rejected and punished.
