Looks like someone snuck a camera in after all.
SC-5 incumbent John Spratt (D) requested that the debate not allow any video or audio. State Sen. Mick Mulvaney reluctantly agreed, since he had earlier challenged Spratt to a debate on any terms.

Ping
The incumbent would only debate if it wasn’t recorded or broadcast?
Yep. Spratt is sickly and old, to the point that he probably shouldn’t exert the energy to run this time. He sounds terrible. That, and the fact that polls show them tied at this point, is probably why he didn’t want this recorded.
Amazing. “I’ll debate so long as most voters can’t see it.”
That alone should cost him several percentage points.
A debate that interested people aren’t allowed to see or hear? That doesn’t make any sense! Leftists are digging their own graves.
Mick should have told Spratt to F$$$$ off until he’s man enough to come on the tube. Spratt is a “commie”
This is blatant evidence that our country has been ‘fundamentally changed’. When someone has to secretly sneak a camera into political events, we are no better than any communist country.
Wake the hell up, people.
They climbin in you debates
They uploadin they videos up
Trying view you so you betta
hide ya face
hide ya voice
hide ya face
hide ya voice
and hide ya health care
cuz they taping all ya debates out there
That is what I would have done. As a native of SC, I have always despised this man.
