WASHINGTON – President Barack Obama is exhorting a Florida minister to "listen to those better angels" and call off his plan to engage in a Quran-burning protest this weekend.
Obama told ABC's "Good Morning America" in an interview aired Thursday that he hopes the Rev. Terry Jones of Florida listens to the pleas of people who have asked him to call off the plan. The president called it a "stunt."

BO and other proponents on the ground zero mosque seem to be out of synch here. Once again, the alliance between progs,libs, and Rats is called into a question of hypocrisy, or maybe, a question of which side do they favor? A guy who provokes mass murderers by burning a book of fiction and gets chastised by a prez with 3 muslim names is clearly much more on the ball then people give him credit for.

I guess the guy has a right to burn the Koran, but nobody has to watch it or give him any moment of fame for it if they don’t want to. Kind of fails as a stunt if it gets ignored.
I’m not impressed with flag burners or Koran burners, either one. Some people do stunts. Other people actually do the hard work of the world that needs to be done. I respect the latter more.

Why is that Democrat leaders can go on TV and declare that the was is lost and we should pull out of the middle east and their comments cost US soldiers lives, but this Pastor’s comments are being framed in an inflamatory manner?
The pastor apparently wants a meeting with the White House all I can say is well played at the meeting he should demand that the POTUS stand up for all of the USA and censure the building of a Mosque at Ground Zero and if Obama agrees then there will be no need to burn Korans..
Is it any wonder so many people think Obama is a muslim when he constantly sides with them over america?

Read the Koran and know what EVERY Muslim believes and call them on their beliefs as stated in the book they say is their rules for radicals.
So Obama can comment on the wisdom of this actions but not on the wisdom of building a mosque at ground zero? Why is that?
We have a president who is so upset at the idea of someone burning a koran but could not care less that his friend stomps the American flag on the cover of some liberal rag and gets all wee wee’d up that Americans don’t want a mosque built at ground zero.

Washington DC - The Saudi government burns and desecrates hundreds of bibles its security forces confiscate after raids on Christian expatriates worshiping privately or at border crossings.
As a matter of official policy, the government either incinerates or dumps bibles, crosses and other Christian paraphernalia.
Hundreds of Christian worshipers are arrested every year by Saudi police in raids on their private gatherings. Bibles, crosses and printed materials are confiscated and later burnt or dumped into trash. Bibles and other Christian paraphernalia found with travelers into the country are confiscated and destroyed.
Although considered as holy in Islam and mentioned in the Koran dozens of times, the Bible is banned in Saudi Arabia, and is confiscated and destroyed by government officials.
The Pastor is setting Obama up to show his true FOOL colors.. “Don’t burn the Koran oh please oh please”, but NOTHING to the Imam about not building the Mosque at Ground Zero. Take the bait, Obama!! Do it you fool.

That’s what ticks me off about all this. Obozo and the libs are just fine with American tax dollars funding attacks on Christian symbols and Christianity in general, but get all wee wee’d up at the thought of someone burning a koran.
