So much for the tired “Republican have no solutions” mantra, Obaama.
The republicans are not perfect far from it. They had best not screw up. But I am sick to death of the democrats saying the GOP have no ideas. Obama also lied when he said the GOP had no health care reform ideas. They did (See Ryan’s website) Obama wanted ObamaCare nanny control period end of subject.
As soon as I see the word bi-partisan I stop reading - nothing but Lib light to follow.
Grow some stones you coward. I hope this guy gets challenged for speaker. maybe Bachman
I have mixed feelings about how the Republicans should campaign for Nov. ... Personally, I think we should let the Dems do all the talking now that they are imploding.
bipartisan my a$$! Call this POS and tell him to resign NOW!
The first thing is to repeal all of the damage done by the Obamiacs.
Yep even the libs are sick of dems deny and blame game.
-- 2. Enact a two-year freeze on all current tax rates to stop job-killing tax hikes on families and small businesses. This would help ease the uncertainty employers and entrepreneurs are facing so they can get back to creating jobs. While President Obama intends to move forward with his plan to raise taxes on half of small business income in America, House Republicans will continue to fight to permanently stop job-killing tax hikes.
Boehners comments came just hours before President Obama was scheduled to talk about the economy in Cleveland an event that the White House has admitted is a direct response to an economic speech Boehner gave in the same city last month. During that speech, Boehner called on President Obama to take five steps to break the ongoing economic uncertainty including cutting spending and stopping job-killing tax hikes. Boehner also called on President Obama to announce his intent to veto lame-duck job-killing bills including card check and a cap-and-trade national energy tax, call on Democratic Leaders to stop obstructing Republicans attempts to repeal ObamaCares job-killing 1099 mandate, and ask for and accept the resignations of the remaining members of his economic team.
But it ain't gonna set the world on fire. What we need is a dramatic reversal - anything less is complicit with Obama's agenda.
I agree. The RATS have a different understanding of the word bi-partisan. To them, it means that Republicans should cave-in to their demands.
They have been winning so far because the Republicans seem to have no back bone! Given the chance - the Rinos are always happy to oblige.
There was an interesting op-ed in the WSJ yesterday by Fred Barnes (I think), who claimed the the inside-the-Beltway Republicans generally wish to take the “wait and see” approach, while the outside-the-Beltway Republicans (and Tea Partiers) feel differently.
Yeah, I don’t like him as speaker, either. In fact, he gets on my nerves most of the time. I’d support Ryan or Bachmann (maybe Cantor... maybe) over him any day.
I am angry and I don't know what I'm angry about!!!
As soon as I see the word bi-partisan I stop reading - nothing but Lib light to follow.
He is using the Dems’ playbook against them. What do the Dems do? They lay out a plan on which they will not compromise, then demand the GOP be bipartisan.
He has laid out a specific plan, and has thrown the challenge to the Dems—join us in our bi-partisan effort.
Finally, someone in the GOP is playing political chess instead of checkers.
I am a registered independent voter and I disgree.
Bi-partisan is important as Obama is not capable of even faking it. Obama has divided with race, class, warfare.
I am tired of the left vs right games. I am wary of the GOP but we need a sane adult to take the microphone. Enough is enough with Obama playing attorney and attacking Arizona and doing nothing but passing a nanny ObamaCare, vacationing and golfing and defending terrorists.
Exactly. Barney Fife could speak up with a plan and all that are still sane would be happy an adult spoke up.
I certainly see both sides. But it seems that everytime a Dem opens his mouth they look silly. Obama with the “dog” comment, Gibbs with the “economic” comment, Reid with the “jobs arent my fault” comment. I say give them the mic and let them keep talking.
I don’t want fence sitters to see the Repubs working compromises with the Rats ... and have them say “this new cooperation could work, lets not change anything.”
The union is all they have left. The union is exempt from the hideous ObamaCare laws and penalties.
I agree!....I don't like Boehner all that much but he just preempted them!....Hammer that exact plan night and day till the election!!...Nothing else!....The dems will not compromise... and neither should the republicans...
