I agree!....I don't like Boehner all that much but he just preempted them!....Hammer that exact plan night and day till the election!!...Nothing else!....The dems will not compromise... and neither should the republicans...
By making this proposal, Boehner boxes Obama in. If he accepts it, he capitulates to the GOP. That he cannot do and save face. If he rejects it, he cannot say that the GOP made no attempt to reach across the aisle and that it has no ideas. Either way, Obama loses.
