Fine, keep the bye but it seems their season could be longer.Maybe shorten the preseason by two weeks and then go at with the regular season. If you're team plays preseason in August, and then in January, it's the same as baseball and basketball.

They have the wrong formula for happiness:
Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure nineteen nineteen six, result happiness. Annual income twenty pounds, annual expenditure twenty pounds ought and six, result misery. --- Mr. Micawber in Dickens' David Copperfield

LOL! It’s a lot of money for men of that young age. The smart ones save and the others don’t.

They’re supposed to be. But most of the poor people I know are pretty miserable.

“Preseason” aka Scrimmages are unnecessary IMHO. We never had them when I played ball. Clint Jr had one scrimmage per year when he played, it’s a relatively new phenomenon. It’s safer to play in the winter than the summer because of heat stroke. With all the teams having access to indoor facilities, I believe, summer practices should be done there. What’s wrong with working 8 months a year? They ain’t teachers!

But most of the poor people I know are pretty miserable.I'd agree with that. It's humorous when songs or movies wax peotic along the lines of not having money, but we had love. Was it too much to ask for love and new stereo? LOL!

Whats wrong with working 8 months a year?I'd agree with that. They aren't teachers. And giving teachers credit for 8 months is awfully liberal with your wording. They work 6 in a good year. LOL!
We never had them when I played ball.
I know...back then you played with a real rock and no pads or helmets. I know, but things have changed. LOL!
The only thing I like about the preseason is that it's good for rookie development, especially if you have one that will play in your offense or defense from the beginning of the season to the end.

C'mon Rush....the first half hour of your show today was as much fluff as one-third of your show yesterday. I figured yesterday you were worn out by your vacation and would have plenty of red meat for us today. You're off to an inauspicious start.
I'm not interested in how we feel about our looks and the survey you're blabbing interminably about....especially for openers on the show.
Rush has had little inside stuff lately, and is getting repetitive about Obama, like Hannity. With his decades-long connections he should have some original insights to tell us about. But we're getting soft stuff.
Without fear or favor, Beck is giving us the raw meat about the commies, radicals, socialists and traitors surrounding and advising the president. He names names and takes no prisoners. He names the radical organizations and gives us the inside on the international financial terrorist, Soros.
Rush....give us some investigative stuff, PLEASE, not warmed-over pap that we are already schooled in. You used to do it!
Still luv ya as I have almost daily for about twenty years, but......

I have to say I enjoyed watching Tim Tebow in preseason, I wouldn’t have watched the Broncos otherwise. May be the last time I see him :o(

Are new ideas for stimulus just old ideas too bad for Democrats to use in the old Stimulus bill? I don’t think they came up with anything they couldn’t have done before.

I told my wife, who’s a Broncos fan, that you might want to watch preseason because you’ll get to see Tebow, because when the season starts you won’t. That is, unless injuries force things there.

Any time Axelrod appears on a talk show he is throwing out a trial baloon to see if it will fly.
This baloon will act like the Hindenberg. 32 Democrats, so far, won't back it.
Bring on the elections.
