ACORN SEIU UAW TEAMSTERS AFSCME CEMETERIES AZTLAN These and many more, are ALL votes for RATS.

Not only do these VOTE for Dems; they intimidate, steal votes, vote felons, the dead, dogs, cats--you name it.

We had better act like we are at least 10 pts. behind, have lawyers watching the military vote, and some organization to counteract black panthers and other intimidation.

Last time Gallup did that it was because they polled “adults” rather than “likely voters”. They got burned real bad by people not too stupid to see the difference. I wonder if they are doing it again.

Gallup is screwy. It’s not the first time, this year even, that they’ve had an outlier poll.

1,650 registered voters. Polls that just poll registered voters are highly innacurate. Polls like Rasmussen use likely voters as their sample and that is the difference. I also agree with your analysis about the holiday weekend. Look for Gallup’s next poll to have the GOP ahead.

RE :”Say goodbye to the 10-point lead Republicans enjoyed in last week's Gallup poll of generic congressional preferences. Gallup's weekly tracking poll of the generic ballot, a key predictor of voters’ actions in elections, showed Democrats and Republicans tied at 46 percent — down from the 10-point lead the GOP held just a week ago.

See. It was Obama’s Labor Day speech in Milwaukee. See , he still has that magic. Now that he explained that Republicans oppose him voters will all vote democrat. Over at MSNBC they will be overjoyed at this fast turn around. He can still hypnotize us.

Not to worry. All we need is enough Republicans to win to block democrats but still leave the public with the impression that democrats are responsible for everything. By 2012 almost no one will turn out for democrats.

THESE Spineless cowards do NOT want control or to be responsible. They LIKE being the underdog. Most who are SURE to win their seats, will sabotage the newbies, especially any who dare think they will come in as freshmen and actually change anything in this game.

We are living in the equivalent of Chavez’s Venezuela. Nothing surprises me from here on in.

Excellent point that will guarantee we take the whitehouse as well.

I would like to see tea partiers, minutemen, the NRA and swiftboaters show up at each polling place to ensure all voters get to vote and are not intimidated by the new black panthers.

that large a change in one week, without any evident cause, is prima facie evidence that the poll is worthless

One of their favorite methods is to lie about polls.

Generic polls don’t mean anything anyway. The House is won district by district and thanks to gerrymandering and campaign finance laws 95% of incumbents win re-election. The generic poll could have the GOP up by 30 points and 95% of the dems in office will stay in office. Nobody needs to cheat for that, it’s the difference between how real congressional elections work and the generic poll works.

The important thing is that BO remain too arrogant to “go Clinton” and paint himself as a moderate that is being thwarted by the nasty old republicans in congress.

Are they trying to energize their base or the rest of us by these polls? It would not surprise me if democrats are so disheartened by Obama and his stupid antics that they stay home by the thousands in November.

You are correct. BO is not a moderate and is too arrogant to fake it. He’d rather BE a martyr.

In addition to this being a poll of *self-reported* registered voters, the poll was conducted in Spanish for people who don't speak English. Cough cough.

And there's this from the Gallup site about these poll results:

There has been no change in the advantage Republicans hold over Democrats on motivation to vote in the fall elections. Republicans remain twice as likely as Democrats to be "very enthusiastic" about voting, tied with the previous week's measure as the largest such advantage of the year.

In other words, this poll shows a 10 point increase for Democrats among people who simply claimed to be registered voters, some of whom do not speak English well enough to respond to the poll in a language they are required to know before becoming a citizen who is eligible to vote, and can't be bothered to actually go to the polls anyway.

Pfft.
