Today John Bonehead called for a ‘Tax Freeze’. Not tax cuts.

One of those polls are wrong.

10 points in one week?
Something’s not kosher.
Polling thru Labor Day weekend must have gotten a lot of (D) voters staying home to watch the NCAA football games..............

A “freeze” is a good start that is hard for the looters to demagogue. We can work on cuts after taking back the legislature.
To: Raycpa
One of those polls are wrong. Yep. It cannot look good for Gallup to have 10 point swings in a single week with zero catalyst for that change. One of those polls is obviously very poorly done.

I guess we will have to go to the polls and see what happens won’t we?

A ten point loss in a week I find extremely hard to believe.

“Today John Bonehead called for a Tax Freeze. Not tax cuts.”
Where are Palin and the other conservatives that can grab headlines?
Come out against Boehner! make it clear we want tax CUTS, not a freeze. We partisanship, not bipartisanship. We want draconian cuts to federal spending. we want repeal of ObamaCare.
Palin and others need to make noise, be clear and be forceful. This can not slip bad in the mud.
(the only reason I bring up Palin is that the media will amplify anything she says)

I have no doubt that they will attempt to do the same thing with the military vote and any other ballots that they know will not help them.

While I don’t believe the Dems suddenly caught up with the R’s in this polling, it’s good news in the sense that the R’s/Conservatives were getting entirely too sure of themselves and the November victories. You always have to run elections like you’re 10 points behind. Always.

"Gallup's weekly tracking poll of the generic ballot, a key predictor of voters' actions in elections, showed Democrats and Republicans tied at 46 percent -- down from the 10-point lead the GOP held just a week ago. " One way or another, something is corrupted in these numbers. A 10-point shift in one week without significant news is an impossibility.

If the choice is between what Rasmussen has consistently been showing for months, versus what Gallup cooks up for one week, I’m going with Rasmussen.
