The polls this morning show the Democrats in danger of losing the House and possibly the Senate in the upcoming midterm elections. How will Barack Obama govern? Will he emulate Bill Clinton and move to the middle to find selected portions of the GOP agenda he can claim for himself? The Daily Caller’s Jon Ward thinks Obama will go the other direction:
A Republican takeover of the House will make Capitol Hill a much less relevant place for President Obama, and is likely to turn the administration’s focus toward working through federal agencies and regulation — which it can do unilaterally — rather than trying to pass new legislation.
Opponents of the Obama administration’s agenda said they are shifting their attention away from the legislative arena and toward the regulatory field of battle.

Obama is arrogant enough that he won’t change directions just because the people told him that they don’t like his plans.
He’ll push ahead anyway, the opposite of what Clinton did in 1995 and 1996, and likely end up costing himself re-election in 2012 while giving the incoming Republican president the same kind of solid majorities that he had when he took over in 2009.

If the republicans control the appropriations they can limit those regulatory agencies by cutting their funding.
It will be the Prime responsibility of the next Congress to stop and undo the Obama regulatory agenda.
On 11/3/10 we wake up with the same usurper at the helm. And - yes, he will use any means necessary to continue his destructive agenda.
One of THE most important immediate actions needed would be to de-fund the Regulatory Agencies (EPS, DHS, etc.), and limit their ability to regulate when legislation is not forthcoming. The de-funding of ALL Czars, and removal of Union influence should be next.

The Won won’t run for re-election in 2012. The country will refute him and his policies or America will cease to exist and he won’t NEED to run. Just be coronated.

Indeed, all executive branch regulatory agencies whose edicts have the force of law
need to be defunded.
No “legislation” should come from anywhere except the legislative process, passed by both houses of Congress and signed by the president.
Congress has abdicated its powers, mostly out of laziness, I conjecture.

They’re our last line of defense, and from what I know about the men and women of our military, they won’t let us down.
