Some people just cant let go and Dan Rather is a case in point. Almost six years after he questioned George Bushs National Guard service Rather is still defending the report that led to his eventual departure from the network.
Give it a rest Dan.
From TVNewser
Rather, of course, famously parted ways with CBS after a story about Former President George W. Bushs service in the National Guard was found to be based on faulty documents.
Rather sued CBS over his ouster, and most of the charges have since been dismissed.
Still, Rather continues to defend the report to Poynter:

They don’t call it bush-derangement-syndrome for nothing.
You’re right, he’s delusional——like my sister.

Is Rather going to demand that that story be buried with him?

To: Not gonna take it anymore
Does he know what frequency it is being broadcast on?

I've heard of faulty brakes. Faulty wiring. A faulty engine....
What's a "faulty" document? Do those cause your house to burst into flames? Do aircraft regularly fall from the sky from faulty documents?
These "faulty documents" sound pretty dangerous. Maybe there should be a government agency protecting us all from them.

What's the Point Dan?
We're not allowed to ask to see the Birth Certificate of current resident at 600 Pennsylvania Ave. to see if he is indeed Constitutionally eligible to sit in the Oval Office as President.
Why in the HELL should We want to see the attendance record of the last resident at 600 Pennsylvania Ave? So what that GW Bush might have played hookie from the National Guard.

I can’t decide what should be engraved on Rather’s tombstone:
“Courage”
“Fake but Accurate”
Or
“What’s the frequency, Kenneth?”

“faulty document”....I think the word the author is searching for is fraudulent.

I’m sure Big Foot was his source. He ought to really lay off the mushrooms.

"This poor man is delusional." Nah..He's "sorry". As in a sorry excuse for a journalist, just like CBS is a sorry excuse for a news organization. Just like his predecessor, Wally Crankcase, was sorry.
All of them simply and nothing more than liberal propagandists.
To: Not gonna take it anymore
Maybe not delusional. He may see a path to dollars here. How was his CBS lawsuit resolved?

A comment in the original article had a good point. Rather has an axe to grind with the Bush family when Bush Sr embarrassed him on national tv.
