Members of the New Black Panther Party showed up in Gainesville Monday to let The Dove World Outreach Center know it is outraged by its plan to burn the Koran.
"I believe in peace but if you aggress me, I am going to fight back," said State Chairman of the New Black Panther Party Mikhail Muhammad.
The church plans to burn the holy book Saturday on the ninth anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.
The pastor's plan has reached all the way to Afghanistan where Monday hundeds of demonstrators burned a cardboard effigy of the Gainesville pastor, Terry Jones.
"We are not surprised at all that they are responding in that way because that's the nature of Sharia law, that's the nature of violent Islam," said Jones.

"We basically want to warn Pastor Terry Jones that if he burns this Koran, he's going to insight a wrath and chastisement on himself that he will not be able to bare (sic) and all he's going to do is add more division between Muslims and Christians when we should be sitting down at the table to resolve our differences," said Muhammad.
The New Black Panther Party say it will be back in Gainesville Saturday to show the church and the world they won't stand for religious hatred.

It also isn’t “Go into the world and fear Satan and allow him to take your soul.”
Those who are oppossing this Koran burning are basically ‘afraid’...... a violent outcome by Muslims will come from this. We even have the leadership of our military and our President shaking....
I stress the word ‘afraid’ because that is exactly what Islamists want us to be...afraid of them. Seems to me many are falling in line to Islams primary and first objective...make people afraid of them. And they accomplished doing this in the highest leadership of our country.....
You are like the eager church lady who told her pastor, when he announced he was going on vacation to rest, that “Satan never rests.” The pastor wisely replied “Satan is not my example.”
Well Islams will is to make people afraid and that is exactly what is happening.
Because most of the news on FR about Islam touches on terrorism, you may be forgiven for making this presumption. But it is presumptuous.
Not just paper will be burned; bridges (both secular and holy) will be burned too, unnecessarily.
It is a false courage that enchains itself in the mores of its enemy in the hopes of beating said enemy.
And now I couldn't care less about your opinion on this issue. This conversation is over.
But before I go, if you seriously want to discuss geometric physics, and in particular temporal dimensions (Vafa, Wesson et al) - I'd love to take you up on it. Math and physics are among my favorite subjects.

David didn’t stick his pen into Ecclesiastes. Solomon may have collected some of his dad’s sayings but it’s Solomon’s pen which was responsible for enshrining them in the book.
