The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
That is definitely Laura’s grandchild!
Missed you!...and thanks for the smiles! He is a wonderful grampa just as he’s a wonderful man! :)
That is so sweet. I’m sure he too “was in love” the first time he saw and held her. He’s talked about her a lot. What a fortunate baby she is to be born into such a loving family.
Hey LUV, I missed you too. Pres. Bush is just insanely in love with his granddaughter and relishes his new role as grampa. I’m gonna try to post more new photos and news on GW on this thread in the near future so don’t worry the Dose is still alive and well!
Thanks Humal. Mila is such a lucky baby for sure. I wish more of the public could see that caring, human side of Pres. Bush, not the caricature he has been portrayed for many years by the lamestream media.
Good news! I couldn’t stand not to see pictures and videos of OUR president when there are occasions for new ones. It’s so nice to see a REAL man for a change. Thanks again, Patty! :)
Happy #GrandparentsDay
(Adorable upclose shot of his granddaughter Mila GW posted on Sept 6th)
Say hi to Bob, a stray who wandered onto the ranch in Crawford. Now he lives with Miss Beazley in Dallas.

Thank you so much!
Darling precious photos, particularly the one of him and his beautiful granddaughter!
You’re very welcome onyx. The pic with him and the baby girl is definitely a fan favorite, based on the likes and gushing positive comments it got on his Instagram page!
GW speaking at the Warrior Open dinner to the participants and their families
Pres. Bush also taped an interview yesterday that was aired on Good Morning America this morning. He mostly talked about his commitment to help the wounded warriors through the Warrior Pro-Am golf tournament. But he also talked about his recent heart surgery and the joy of becoming a grandfather.
(Ping!)
Have any of our beloved Wounded Warriors EVER been invited to play golf with you-know-who?
Just askin’.
Nah, I don’t think so, last time I checked :)
No one could ever accuse him of being a pansy! :)
Thank you for these wonderful images to revel in!
I didn’t think so either.
