The month of September 2005 was a very busy month for President Bush after Katrina came on land at the Gulf coast and damaged the area. We see President Bush and First Lady Laura visiting New Orleans and other affected areas in Louisiana and Mississippi to comfort the victims of the hurricane and bring aid
The country lost Chief Justice William Renquist who passed away on September 3, 2005
President Bush nominated Judge Roberts to become the next Chief Supreme Court Justice. On September 29th Justice Roberts was sworn in as the 20th? Supreme Court Chief Justice.
President Bush remembered 9/11 heroes at a Medal of Valor ceremony. He also met with several foreign leaders and addressed the Useless Nations
For the quote of the month I have chosen President Bushs Remarks which he gave at the National Day of Prayer and Remembrance Service on September 16, 2005
Great pictures
Thank you!
Thank you, Pattyvita!! These are such fantastic pictures of our WONDERFUL President Bush. The picture with him holding the hand of the little boy is soooo touching. President Bush’s love and respect for our military members just shines through. God bless our military, their families and our great President Bush.
‘... Oh, I miss and love this man so much!....’
Ditto, Starwise! sigh.....
Soooo wonderful to see - thank you so much pv!
I admire George W. Bush SO much for the way he respects the members of the military. He shows that he feels a responsibility for their injuries, because it was he who wrote the orders to send them into harm’s way.
BTW, you can also check out more terrific photos from the Texas Golf Association Facebook page.
Many of the pics have not appeared on the official Warrior Open website so theres a lot more to see there:

Thank you all for the kind words on the photos. It has been a lot of hard work for me putting together and posting the pics these past few days. But it was also fun and I did it out of love not because I was forced to do it.
Its very important that we keep the memory of our President alive and to never forget how much of an impact he has made in our lives and many others. Its so wonderful to see President Bush getting out there and just enjoying life and at the same time devoting his time to support our servicemen and women.
Thank you so much! It’s always great seeing Pres Bush’s smiling face. I talked to a woman tonight, and she said she cannot stand to see obama’s face. I feel the same way.
I’ve been discovering different tv programs to escape the news at night.
Your efforts in posting these wonderful pictures is so very much appreciated. Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. I couldn’t be more proud of GWB if he was my own brother or hubby.
This is so very true, patty! Thank you, once again, for your work. It is such a delight to see pictures of the Bushes out and about!
BTW, if any of you are FB friends with phancypants, she was at the open and has some great pictures up!
I don't know if you heard about it, but the group Amnesty International is at it again. They are asking Canada to arrest President Bush for torture
Amnesty International urged Canada on Wednesday to arrest former US President George W. Bush for human rights abuses when he visits the province of British Columbia later this month.
Alex Neve, head of Amnesty's Canadian branch, said Bush had authorized the use of torture techniques such as waterboarding during his time as President, which ran from 2001 to 2009.
I sure will pray for him. The moonbats never stop being moronic, do they!
No they don’t and please pass the message on
Thank you, Kas. Evil abounds. Dear Lord, bless and protect this good, faithful and courageous man and his family from those filled with hate and godlessness, and hold them in Your loving care always. Lord, have mercy.
Canteen ping for this special prayer request for President Bush...post #2254
Done! :)
#2254 .. please
