While President Obama vacationed in Martha's Vineyard, the Oval Office got a makeover, but one quote on the new carpet is wrongly attributed.

Obviously the best way to handle this is to weave a small asterisk after King's name, and then add the true attribution at the edge of the rug.
And these are the zerowits that repeatedly called President Bush “stupid.”
WATCH OUT!! I followed the link and all I got was a normal picture of the company’s president and of staff members. This kind of erroneous posting can get the poster successfully charged with libel. If the picture you posted was there when you checked their website, you better mention that.
I think we should leave it alone as it is well suited to the bland blank schlub who is sitting as Resident at the moment.
Once he is out of office, the place will have to be treated for termites, bedbugs, RATS, and all sorts of vermin.
Boy if I were the incoming FL I would have a complete decontamination of the quarters and the whole building...Clen the heating and air condition vents, test the water and get new toilets and bathroom fixtures..the whole deal..
What job would anyone actually trust Obama to do?
“The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice,” reads the quote attributed to King”
Hmm. I agree that O is a total dweeb. But, King did say that quote often and it sounds like other things that he wrote and spoke about. It has the same tone. So, I don’t think that this is such a horrible error. Lots of King scholars without being challenged would attribute that to King.
King popularized this quote. Pastors do that now and then.
I am not the one to hesitate to defend our Misleader in Chief.
What I wonder is: How much did the rug cost and was the price justifiable when so many working families are struggling because the destroyed economy caused by Omama?
The irony that keeps on giving. Barak X lies like a rug. Barak X trips over a rug. Barak X and his jesters misjudge a quote about justice, and then unjustly blame the rugmaker. Bambi probably hasn't even had time to spill ice cream in the newly neutered-with-neutrals office.
This is awfully similar to the bumbling Chief *Justice* tripping up the UOTUS on the word faithfully.
"The arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice." ~ Oval Office rug (words the UOTUS tramples underfoot)
"So let it be written. So let it be done." ~ Pharaoh
Wonder what that rug will look like after Bo the dog poops and erps on it...
You lie.
Fair enough.....
One thing you can make book on.
If there is a mistake made. Obama will squeal out of it by blaming it on anyone but himself.
The Pope may or may not be infallible , but Obama, in his mind is.

Obama Responds to Critics with New White House Tapestry
The bed bug infestation in the White Mosque
has more documentation that pRes_ _ent Obama.
that is good..should be circulated widely..it is the POTUS motto, after all.
Clinton's blue rug
Carter never changed the rug. Reagen did in his second term
Interior designer Mario Buatta, as quoted in The Washington Post, finds the sofas too casual and notes a relative lack of "regard for... history and tradition." Watch a commentary-free overview of the makeover below:
Gibbs insists no taxpayer money was used.
The Oval Office now resembles an upscale hotel conference room, scoffs New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd, and the timing's a bit bone-headed: "Obama clearly needs a reminder about what really counts as the Democrats prepare to get their clocks cleaned."
“No way in cowboy hell the carpet weaver is to blame.”
The headline is hyperbole, trying to make cute with ‘calling on the carpet.’ but it does say the carpetmaker is not TOTALLY to blame. They’re not at ALL to blame. They made exactly what they were told to make, the way they were told to make it, verbatim.
It’s not the carpetmaker’s job to verify quotes given to them by the WH whose primary occupant has been improperly attributing the same quote thru his career.
I see they at least got a quote from
the Terminator on there, “No Problemo.”
The just need, “ Do you feel lucky Punk”?
and, “Let’s stand off and nuke it from orbit,
it’s the only way to be sure!”
