Undoubtedly an Obongo underling told the rug makers exactly what words 0bongo wanted put on the carpet. The rug makers are not responsible at all. It’s absurd to think they took the initiative

Why would ANYONE in the WH blame the rugmaker? It's a poor imam that blames his prayer rug, I guess.

Why would anyone be upset with a carpet maker if they used Obama’s favorite quotes and why would they have any fault? The quotes are Obama’s favorites (or at least that’s the claim). Did the rug maker make the decision on which quotes were President Obama’s favorites? Were they responsible for checking to see if the attributions made by the White House were were correct? Now if they spelled it wrong then they’d be at fault, but not for following instructions.
That said the quote is the way Martin Luther King Jr. paraphrased the original quote. The rug isn’t wrong, the reporters are. But what do you expect.

Blame it on the carpet-maker—geesh—just another outburst of his malignant narcissism.

Another little reported quote on the rug is “The dog ate my homework.” On the opposite side is “It was broken when I got here.”

I’d send in a donation if when his a$$ is kicked out of there they would tear that mess out and restore it exactlay as it was before.
This is desecration of an historic place.

My investigation into this error led me to David Remnick's biography of Obama, "The Bridge," published this year. Early in the narrative, Remnick, the editor of the New Yorker, presents this as "Barack Obama's favorite quotation." It appears that neither Remnick nor Obama has traced the language to its true source. If it's Pres. Obama's favourite quotation, who looked up the reference? I rather doubt the responsibility to find the correct attribution rested with the carped manufacturer alone.

What would it matter. If the quote does not have MLK’s name in small letters with it then so what? Blame the idiot who wrote the article and listed the quote as belonging to the other patriot rather than MLK and Zero still escapes the stupidity of his remarks..he has more slide than a Teflon pan.

Of course a narcissist is NEVER at fault for anything. Someone else must be found to be blamed. The Scott Group goes under the bus with all the others.

So other than the fact that all the quotes but this one are from past presidents.....much ado about nothing.
