I think by now, it's pointless to argue with these clowns. They will never accept any answer except what they have already concluded. The courts have rejected every claim in this arena, Congress, as represented by the duly elected Speaker of the House, has signed off on his presidency and his qualifications to be president; case closed . . . except for the die hard birthers.

Also; I would like to see your answers to the questions I posted in #119, while not directly part of the "birther" argument it illustrates quite well how governments at all levels can, and do, ignore their Constitutions.

I don’t think that Obama’s ineligibility for the presidency will ever be resolved. Too many influential and powerful people from both sides of the political aisle have cooperated in the deception of the American people. They will all be involved in protecting each others political future. Anyone breaking ranks may meet an untimely death.

Congress and the Supreme court has defined Natural born citizenship as being born to parents whom are American citizens. Based on our laws , Article 2 of the Constitution , obama is ineligible to be President. Congress has chosen to ignor Article 2, but regardless it still leaves us with no legal President. Congress does not have the right to allow obama to serve as president,as they know he is ineligible. The proper way to remove obama is to VOID his election. This would mean he never ran for office , never choose biden as vice- President, never made any appointments. The legal President of the U.S. is John McCain and the legal vice- President is Sarah Palin. They have the majority of the “legal” electorial college votes. When obama’s election is voided ,so would his electorial college votes be voided.

By people who are, supposedly, free to make whatever charges they wish. (Though like slander and libel they are not free from the consequences of those charges.) And the authority most often cited is that of the Constitution; either it *IS* the supreme law of the land (and obviously has such authority to present requirements to public officials), or it is not... in which case I must ask from whence does each of the Executive, Legislative, and Judicial branches get their authority? {Furthermore, is it an authority I should respect?}

What really irks me are those on the right who sneer
at the birth certificate issue.

No, it states that a sitting president is eligible so long as congress or the voters take no action. There is no other authority that can intervene but congress.

False. Congress has said that someone BORN OVERSEAS of 2 American parents is a NBC. The Supreme Court has said anyone born in the US of parents in amity with the US Government is a NBC.
