The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Saturday shows that 24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve of the way that Barack Obama is performing his role as president. Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly Disapprove, giving Obama a Presidential Approval Index rating of -21 (see trends).

I waited for a “down day” at Rasmussen to make this observation, so people wouldn’t accuse me of just hating on Rasmussen because I didn’t like their poll results:
What the **** is up with RasmussenReports? For the several months now, they’ve swung between giving Obama the lowest poll ratings and the highest poll ratings. Just two days ago, he polled at 48%, which would represent an amazing turnaround, and now he’s back down to 42% in just two days (in a survey with a three-day trailing average?) Sure, with MOE of 3%, if you take enough polls, you’re bound to see a couple outlier days, but this up and down up and down up and down up and down has been happening for months... from the same pollster who used to have suspiciously little (almost zero) day-to-day variations.
He has been at -25 for a brief moment. I still have the empty champagne bottle.
What does this have to do with pitbulls?
“I don't regret the notion that we are moving forward because of the steps that we have taken,” Obama said...”
Keep it up, Barry!
Where is the picture of Obama bowing to Netanyahu?
In this case, strongly disapprove is 45% and total approve is 42% giving Zero a -3 Abyss rating.

Agreed!
For instance, I exported the data at the Rasmussen link to MS Excel and charted out the tracking back to May 2010. There's a huge approval spike right on 08/07/2010 that I couldn't account for until I Googled what happened on that date.
Elena Kagan was confirmed to the US Supreme Court that day, and by the 11th of August the President's approval had fallen off a cliff after enough polling data came in from people finally reading the news about her.
You're going to see continued variation, but the trend is undoubtedly driving down. Obama can't and won't find a magic fix here. His best attempts at driving up the approval ratings last for a day at most, but he's out of gas. He's in glide mode right now. He can pull back on the controls and point the nose upwards for a brief moment, but the plane is falling to Earth.
Real Clear Politics has this:
Nevada Senate Angle vs. Reid
Rasmussen Reports 9/1 9/1 750 LV 50 47 Reid +3
LVRJ/Mason-Dixon 8/23 8/25 625 LV 45 44 Reid +1
Rasmussen Reports 8/16 8/16 750 LV 48 50 Angle +2
LVRJ/Mason-Dixon 8/9 8/11 625 LV 46 44 Reid +2
But Rasmussen Reports has this:
Nevada Survey of 750 Likely Voters
September 1, 2010
Election 2010: Nevada Senate
Sharron Angle (R)
45%
Harry Reid (D)
45%
Some other candidate
5%
Not sure
6%
(RCP needs to fix!)
I said in a post about a week ago that this would happen. The only support he has left is blacks and the far left. The far left are peed off because he spoke nicely of President Bush during his Iraqi speech
Thank you!
Glad to see the abyss has arrived for this bottomfeeder.
kerplunk!
It’s a pretty sure sign the thrill is gone when the usually gutless late-night hosts start cracking on you.
Rasmussen is playing us. By the middle of next week it will be down to -14 or less. Rasmussen is very obviously manipulating the samples he selects to get the numbers he wants to publish. He wants to portray this as a “horse race” when in fact it is a blow out.
“Bristol really isnt the sharpest knife in the drawer.”
And apples don’t fall far from the tree either.
24% of the nation's voters Strongly Approve... Forty-five percent (45%) Strongly DisapproveThe really bad news for Zero is, that 24% are the dead voters.
Government bureaucrats, SEIU Members, welfare recipients and Morons. Yeah, that would be about 24% of the populace.
Mom’s pretty sharp. Bristol does appear to be sadly dull. Piper seems pretty sharp like Mom.
Mmmm! Mmmm! Mmmm!
