Hmm... glad I didn’t graduate from F2. Not surprised to see he was one of the “goats” (near the bottom of the class).
Sure does. Does this sound familiar to you?
Luke 17:3-So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
Learn your Bible or stop quoting it out of context.
And in doing so she became lost herself:
So watch yourselves. "If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.

I agree with what you say.
But that is no reason for her to go through her whole life burdened with hate and bitterness.
If you read the article, you would see that the moment she forgave a huge burden was lifted from her life.
And you want her to pick it back up and carry it around for the rest of her miserable life for your agenda?
I think she is doing just fine without the hate.
If you want to keep anger in your heart be my guest. Life’s taught me that even if the person who committed a wrong does not seek forgiveness it’s more to the benefit of the wronged person to forgive since they no longer have the hate and anger eating away at them. Or, maybe I’m just a bad Christian.
I’ve never seen this movie. Didn’t know Randy Quaid played dramatic roles. (I love his Cousin Eddie role in the Christmas Vacation movie. I live in the South and he has the speech down pat.)
Well, apparently women, children, and pets made nice little targets for these overarmed, overzealous thugs. Reading about it all these years later is like reading a third-rate novel. Seems that a series of cascading misunderstandings and assumptions allowed a goon squad a pretext to start blowing people away.
You may want justice, but forgiveness is for the heart to rid itself of hate.
Weaver-Balter said the reason she allowed Shatner to interview her was because she wanted to let the nation know about forgiveness and freedom.
The anger you hold for someone else imprisons you and keeps you from helping others, she said.
What made the difference for Weaver-Balter? A passage of Scripture that she memorized as a child: God loved the world so very, very much that he gave his only Son. Because he did that, everyone who believes in Him will not lose his life, but will live for ever [John 3:16].
I hit rock bottom, she said. I opened up my Bible and read John 3:16. Jesus made himself very real to me. He started healing me of all my pain. No one drug me to a church and started hitting with the Bible. It was more real to me even than Ruby Ridge. I feel like a huge weights come off my shoulders.
Why is Lon Horiuchi still alive?
***************
Because he served the ruling class with unquestioning obedience and sufficient skill, in tasks which many would refuse. Good help can be hard to find.
Ruby Ridge - during the tenure of George Herbert Walker Bush.
Waco - during the tenure of William Jefferson Blythe Clinton.
To paraphrase F. Scott Fitzgerald - the ruling class are different from you and me.
more like a setup/sting to manufacture a case against an 'undesirable' man...his family was simply collateral damage...
But we don't.
Rot in Hell, Lon Tomohisa Horiuchi.
Um...wasn’t she the babe in arms at the scene?
Methinks it easier to forgive an evil done by someone you don’t know to someone you don’t know.
You’re taking that out of context. Read the entire chapter. It’s about church discipline and rescuing a lost brother, not forgiveness from the heart.
In fact, as the church elders are brought into the dispute, one thing they might discover is that the offended one is operating from a position of unforgiveness.

No this is the older daughter, she was 16 at the time of Ruby Ridge ad was standing next to her mother when her mother was shot.
God will judge the sins of the perps at Ruby Ridge. For this person to carry the weight of hate throughout her life is up to her. If you can do it, more power to you, it is very hard for someone like myself. Something like this will eat you up if you let it, so forgiveness on her part is the smart thing to do, Many just aren't capable of doing it. Grace is unmerited favor and that is the main teaching of Jesus to His people. If they asked for her forgiveness it would be her duty to forgive them. Since they have not, so much so the better for her. "Vengeance is Mine" saith the Lord.
I've know several people that lost people to drunk drivers and other reasons. If you choose to hold the hate inside yourself, it will eventually overtake you and you will suffer your whole life. The ones that could "move on" always seemed the richer for it. No one can force forgiveness. It has to come from your heart. Carrying the hate will eventually destroy you from the inside. It's up to you.
As for myself, I would probably spend my life finding them, setting up the shot, and blowing them away in front of their family. If caught, who would convict me?
