Peggy Noonan is the last person the GOP should turn to for advice. She was totally fooled by Obama.

Peggy on Obama:

He has within him the possibility to change the direction and tone of American foreign policy, which need changing; his rise will serve as a practical rebuke to the past five years, which need rebuking; his victory would provide a fresh start in a nation in which a fresh start would come as a national relief. He climbed steep stairs, born off the continent with no father to guide, a dreamy, abandoning mother, mixed race, no connections. He rose with guts and gifts. He is steady, calm, and, in terms of the execution of his political ascent, still the primary and almost only area in which his executive abilities can be discerned, he shows good judgment in terms of whom to hire and consult, what steps to take and moves to make. We witnessed from him this year something unique in American politics: He took down a political machine without raising his voice.

I hope no one takes any advice from her....

Gingrich the Enviromentalist, that made a video with Pelosi? Gingrich, the guy that kissed Slick willies ring in front of all those seasoned Citizens way back that spelled the end of the Pubbie Revolution?

Gingrich sold his soul and therefore compromised. He should be finished.

The Dems are going to mount a counter attack. It will include a flood of negativity, but they will find something else - probably something big. I suspect that the “financial meltdown” two years ago helped increase the Dem margin in 2008. I also expect them to try to advertise the crisis of the month as a new danger that means we need to stick with socialism. My guess: it won’t work this time, not even with the complicity of most of the news media, but they’ll pour all their effort into it and hope (not pray, because they’re dems, just hope).

I think you have it exactly right: the Dems will go negative. It will be personal and candidate by candidate. It’s the only bullet they have left. They’ll overdo it. Desperate people almost always go too soft or too hard, rarely just right.

This quote should always be displayed whenever Peggy talks about the Republicans or Democrats. It shows her inability to judge a person, or a political party for that matter.

Ok, fine.
But to every dumble incumbent you can do your own ad:
“He voted with the obama pelosi reid cabal 96% of the time. He decided that he knew more about how your healthcare should be admninistered than your doctor. He said that he had the power to decide how much you can earn. He decided that your financial records and loan applications were his business. He decided to spend 700 billion in payoffs to unions and state governments and only 200 billion to fund jobs for you.”

ETC.

I’ve seen a few articles lately that make me think they are testing the “Republicans want to take away your social security” line again this year. Let ‘em try it.

Repubs don’t HAVE to take away Social (In)Security. It is “taking itself away”.

ROTFL! That was my very first thought. Then I realized that we need to take OUR credit card away from them, because when they overspend, they’re not using THEIR money, they’re using OURS!

Is this movie, being release October 8th by SONY the dem’s October surprise?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X2DRm5ES-uA

It bothers me that they are giving credibility to crooks such as Frank & Sorros and the film is narrated by an O’bummer supporter.
